according to Buddha
Every honest work is honourable work.
somedays won’t end ever and somedays pass on by,
i’ll be working here forever, at least until i die.
dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t
i’m supposed to get a raise next week, you know damn well i won’t.
workin’ for a livin’ (workin’)

thanks kindly ckponderings…my Turkish friends have been on my mind this week…appreciate your words 😀
I particularly like this observation that honest work = honourable work. Taken seriously it nicely flattens the status hierarchy
i think a lot about work…meaningful work…being awake at/to/for one’s work…honest work and what honesty looks like and feels like…i wonder if the Buddha ever said these words…but i borrow them with a idea as you say flattens status hierarchy…thanks kindly for stopping by…and congrats on your book Penny! 😀
