All is impermanent. And what is the all that is impermanent?

rambling out of the wild west
leaving the towns i love the best
thought i’d seen some ups and down
’till i come into New York town
people going down to the ground
building’s going up to the sky

The High Line ~ NYC ~ February 2015.

  1. A really lovely portrait of the High Line without featuring the structure itself. Refreshing and unique!

    • thanks kindly…it was very fresh out…i was intrigued with this space and with the housing costs for such an area…every evolving…appreciate your comment ‘doublewhiler’ 😀 compose a happy day!

  2. An interesting point; to assert impermanence implies an original thingness with temporary instantiation. ‘All is emptiness’, is perhaps clearer, just so long as we don’t fall into nihilism.

  3. Nice to see a winter view of the High Line.

    • thanks Bunty 😀 it was a fresh walk…a must see any time of year…i see the summer images and i was reminded that a little Chet Baker in the background would be nice 😀 compose a happy evening…and thank you!
