 According to Buddha

Do not pursue the past. Do not lose yourself in the future. The past no longer is. The future has not yet come. Looking deeply at life as it is. In the very here and now, the practitioner dwells in stability and freedom. We must be diligent today.

Brooklyn Bridge, NYC ~ February 2015.

  1. the yellow boot photo is incredible!! I LOVE it. ~amy

  2. wow.. nice capture.. 🙂 carry on

  3. I knew that was going to be Rodriguez. Yes a real heart breaking song. Love the photos and thoughts.

    • i had Rodriguez day in my art room…i really love all of his songs…i think dylan & james talyor liked him too 😀 and thank you for your kind comment…appreciated 😀

  4. just gotta say; there’s a fair amount of brilliance in your posts – the pieces and whole

    • thanks kindly ‘mudlips’…i love your name for many reasons…and i appreciate you saying this about my posts a lot! thank you 😀

      • Oh yes! Interesting, thought provoking, and frequently thanks to your posts, I find new music to work to. I have wondered though, where do you find your Buddha quotes?

        • 😀 i love music…the quotes i find on line, articles and books…i continue to read more deeply than before…so i’m learning along the way…as we all know there is a lot fake Buddha quotes…or certainly questionable interpretations of texts…always that wonder who is who and who said what…but the Buddha words spark a place to start or connect for me…thanks mudlips 😀

          • One of the many things I cherish about your site is that the quotes are genuine and you do not propagate the (unfortunate) abundance of false Buddha quotes out there. Thank you for the reading and research you do. 🙂

          • thanks Gina for your words…i have also learned along the way that they are false or they incorrect interpretations…i try to read further and verify what the Buddha said…but i never know for sure, you know.

  5. Your eye through the camera is incredible! Love those locks on the cable over the cars on the bridge, as well as the pic before it, looking up to the sky through the suspension cables. Gorgeous! All of them. I hope you are in galleries, dear one. Your gift is exceptional.

    • well a humble thank you Gina…i love camera work and i did have one photograph in a show here in Edmonton in Feb…and yes i would love to be in a gallery! 😀
