According to Buddha

I will teach you the Dhamma compared to a raft, for the purpose of crossing over, not for the purpose of holding onto. Listen and pay close attention. I will speak.

Edmonton, Alberta ~ North Saskatchewan River ~ July 2015

  1. I want to be a river, river of life.

  2. Beautiful shots Hedy, looks so cool and relaxing!

  3. Thanks for telling us it’s the North Saskatchewan — I found myself wondering! (even though that’s not the point of the exercise…)

    • It’s a muddy looking river and really low so there wasn’t many rafts out 😔 a etown summer river kind of day…compose a happy day Penny!

      • It looked magic, not muddy. And your comment about the rafts brings back memories of rafting on the Bow River through Calgary when water was high enough

        • ahhhhh magic mud…i’ve done little rafting…but i do know the Bow River well…happy memories 😀 compose a good day Penny!

  4. Once again, Hedy, you blend your quote so well with the event and the pics. Nice. ☺

    • awe I do appreciate you saying Van and I love making my posts…somehow they just seem to fall to the page…making them is joyful for me so it’s nice to hear you say…thank you very much 😀 ☺️

  5. So relaxing and peaceful, Hedy! Great! 🙂

  6. Wonderful sequence, again, Hedy!
