According to Buddha

Maturity can’t be hurried or produced on schedule. Growth takes time. We have to steep ourselves for a while, like a good cup of tea. We need to go through what’s necessary for us to endure. We need time and commitment. Probably we also need some luck.

there are things that sing
and things that bite
i’ll walk and walk til i’ve fallen
the water will drown out the din
but my ears i know
they will still ring

random flowers and random painted things ~ Edmonton, Alberta ~ October 2015.

  1. Beautiful images, fantastic words of Buddha.

  2. Lovely touches of colours…nicely captured. (Suzanne)

    • grey dim days here…my eye was feeling like colour 😀 yesterday snowflakes melted on my cheeks…that was beautiful too…happy day to you Suzanne!

  3. So many vivid colors and shapes. It is all so lovely, Hedy. Cheers!

  4. Such rich beautiful images to fill my afternoon senses. I love this collection. Thank you.
One day when I’ve developed the neurons of a Mensa member I’ll be able to figure out your enigmatic titles 🙂

    • Thanks kindly Alison ☺️ never imagined I’d be blogging this many posts but really I love it! Finding titles is part of the fun 😉 happy day to you!

  5. loving the yellow & rust, the red peel, and the green.

  6. Love these images and words. Mahalo!

  7. These are a beautiful set of contrasting photos ~ the first one I like quite a bit as it fits part of your first quote “go through what’s necessary for us to endure” so well. In a sense, I hope to be as successful in life as that door hinge 🙂 The other shots that mesmerizes is the fourth shot ~ the perspective, color and twist it gives. Wish you a great weekend Hedy!
