According to Buddha

It is as if we are continually chasing mirages, only to be disappointed when they do not give us the satisfaction we had hoped for.

listen close, as close as i am to you
like the bell of liberty, i’ll ring a sound that’s true
and days go by and seasons too
in time our love may digress with the words we can renew
oh, i’ll tell you that i
i love you by and by
i don’t know if i’d survive
without a friend like you in my life

  1. Lovely. Thinking of your frozen fingers…

  2. Brrrr….I’ve worn out the fingers on gloves operating the controls on my camera. Some very nice images here, Hedy. Have a great day!

    • Yes fresh and so pretty Chris thank you for always cheering me on ☺️ I appreciate your comments and good wishes very much! Happy day to you too 😀

  3. Beautiful images. I love Autumn and the way the cold frost blankets the land for it’s coming slumber as Sol slowly heads South for a little vacation.
The closing words are lovely, too. Thanks!

    • It was a beautiful early morning my favourite time of day…and I love your idea of moving south very much! Thank you for your comments happy day to you Troy! ☺️

    • Troy…just to clarify the words i use in my sloppy posts are from music lyrics…so the highlighted text takes you the song…use of music is one of my intentions as well…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8zb0EnTj7U&list=RDV8zb0EnTj7U

      • In my work I often apply a title and a surtitle where one or the other is a lyric, quote, or title from a famous work. I am fascinated by the way words can have a radically different meaning depending on the context. Love the work you do, thanks!

        • thank you kindly Troy…and it’s all about composing context and intentions…choosing and never knowing how it will be received…i appreciate you saying…i enjoy my camera, words and music…and silence too 😀

  4. Another exquisite set of photographs. The seasons change . . . . . . .
