will you remember the flowers in my hand?
will you remember my hair?
will you remember the future we planned?
the world is not waiting out there.
will you remember?
will you recall?
will you remember?

Edmonton, Whyte Ave. and Calgary, Memorial Drive, Field of Crosses ~ November 2015.

  1. Nicely done. The first and last ones are very moving and can be interpreted several ways.

    • thanks Bunty…i thought i wrote this morning probably didn’t press send…i do appreciate your comment and i agree as i read more about the poppies and the politics of wearing or not wearing…the field of crosses was very moving to me…compose a happy day…happy snapping ~ smiles hedy

  2. I love the first and last. So poignant. And the guy with the walking stick grinning at you!
    Alison

    • he was delightful and happy to be photographed…the field of crosses and the poppies have so many meanings…all the interpretations of the wearing poppies…or not wearing…wonderful energy this man gave walking with his stick like a wee dance ☺️ compose a happy day Alison!

  3. I like the man with the stick. he looks kind.

  4. The first picture is very powerful…

  5. I presume it was deliberate? the wet soaking red thing (pseudo/quasi sand $ ? ), the chapters in b’tween, then the dry leathery one. same 1? –> duzzn’t matter ~

  6. The first two photos are brilliant, and reflect the heart and words of the quote “Your end, which is endless, is as a snowflake dissolving in the pure air.” Wonderful post Hedy ~ wishing you a good day.
