there’s a big, a big hard sun
beating on the big people
in the big hard world
when i go to cross that river, she is comfort by my side
when i try to understand, she just opens up her hands

  1. I so appreciate how well you craft your posts, Hedy. The photos are beautiful and your choice of music is special. Thanks. ❤️ Van

  2. Brrrr…I feel like I have less to whine about regarding the weather now. Nice images, Hedy. Have a great week.

  3. Ahhhhhh I see winter has arrived in Alberta. Here in Vancouver it’s been frosty too for a while but now we’re back to our usual rain. You have captured the season beautifully. I’m particularly impressed by the photo of dog and shadow. I would not have thought to crop it that way, and yet the crop is perfect and very effective.

    • It’s been beautiful outside 😎 ahhhh my mutt ☺️ running by me on the narrow path…no cropping just loved the shadow…such a happy dog she is 😊 enjoy Vancouver and the green! Smiles

      • We are off to Montreal for 3 weeks in a few days, so back into frosty weather, then new year back here then Mexico for 5 months. Yay! Big smiles 🙂

        • Seriously I want to wander ☺️ love Montreal too…look forward to follow you…and learn more about Mexico only been there once…enjoy the fresh weather…many smiles Alison 😀😊

  4. looks a bit chilli from here. nice shots.

  5. I enjoy your posts so much. Thank you! They always cause me to pause; think, reflect and become calm. To me, your photos always support the words.

    • Wonderful I think a little place of calm on the web is also a good thing ☺️ and yes my intention is about what I’m making sense of through Buddhist words, my photography and the words of music 😀 thank you for your kind comments ~ compose a happy day ~ smiles hedy

  6. Beautiful pictures, wonderful post.

  7. Excellent series, Hedy! I like the blue color. It really lets you feel the cold air. It is too warm here in North Germany. I hope we will get a cold winter as well. Greetings. Reinhold
