According to Buddha

If you permit your thoughts to dwell on evil you yourself will become ugly. Look only for the good in everything so you absorb the quality of beauty.

i never done good things
i never done bad things
i never did anything out of the blue,
want an axe to break the ice
wanna come down right now
my mama said, “to get things done you’d better not mess with major tom.”

QE2 highway ~ random spaces ~ Alberta, Canada ~ January 2016.

  1. You have some wide open places…Lovely images for a Sunday morning Hedy. Have a great day. =)

  2. You have perfectly captured the essence of the frozen Prairie. Beautiful.
And the Buddha quote – I try to do that *all the time* – it makes life easier eh?!

  3. Oh man, is that Buddha quote ever so true. BTW, yesterday, some Canadians 🙂 — Arcade Fire — joined with the Preservation Jazz Hall Band to lead massive second line for David Bowie through a piece of the French Quarter.

    • Paramahansa Yogananda was wise…i’m re-reading bits along the way…i can imagine the music in the french quarter and i can see your images…thanks for your comments Ray!

  4. Beautiful images and sense of scale, Hedy. I love the house, sitting beneath such a large sky. Such vastness makes the sporadic shelter appear like a portal to another world. Like you step inside and it must be really, really quiet… Ha!

    Peace
    Michael

    • a portal to another world…yes that is what i love about these spaces Michael…it’s quiet and dark…sending you joy and thank you for your words…appreciate them ~ smiles hedy

  5. Spectacular wide open spaces!
