According to Buddha

The sun shines equally on diamond and charcoal, but the former has developed qualities that enable it to reflect the sunlight brilliantly, while the latter is unable to reflect the sunlight. Emulate the diamond in your dealings with people.

  1. Beautiful in b/w.

  2. I liked the patterns of this series, Hedy. The curving field of grain, the shadows on the wooden planks, the speckled and spun metal, and the stacked wood. And then the guns. Amidst all the rest. I felt as though you’d given us a peek into a life that was seemingly simple on the outside, but full of complexity, shadow and pattern on the inside… I agree with the beauty of the b/w for this series…

    Peace
    Michael
