According to Buddha

Build your inner environment. Practice silence. I remember the wonderful discipline of the Great Ones. When we used to talk and chatter, they would say: “Go back into your inner castle.” It was very hard to comprehend then, but now I understand the way of peace.

  1. The perfect silence of stone – lovely work, Hedy.

  2. Love all the shots and love Lord Buddha’s quote too

  3. Beautiful pictures! I love the quote–especially the words,”build your inner environment.” This really resonates. Thank you so much for sharing!

    • thank you so much Raven Wolfe…and yes i work daily to build my inner environment…being content and silent…i’m glad the Buddha and my sloppy bits resonate for you! compose a happy day ~ smiles from over the pond ~ hedy

  4. “now I understand the way of peace.” It’s so obvious isn’t it? There can be no outer peace without inner peace. Lovely photos Hedy. One day we will get to Portugal. It’s on our radar. Your photos entice me. The peacock is my favourite shot.

      • The meaning of Peacocks – what a lovely message. They were around us frequently when we lived in India. I never tire of them. I like the sound of Lisbon.
