warm as yellow.
and i do not want to be a rose.
i do not wish to be pale pink,
but flower scarlet, flower gold.
and have no thorns to distance me,
but be bright,
bright,
bright, bright as yellow,
warm as yellow.

Excellent quote…. We should stop naturalizing things which are everything but “normal”… This reminded me of what happened in Orlando last saturday, by the way… sigh…
excellent post and pics… sending love. Aquileana 😀

    • Aquileana thank you kindly for your comment 😀 ahhhh perhaps, living in an age of distraction…another hate filled attack…i don’t want to believe we’ve become immune to these increasingly common occurrences 🙁 i do know i’ll never understand why a being in a human suit has a need for AR-15…i’m Canadian it makes no sense to me…sending love back to you Hedy <3

  8. The subtlety of the light in some of these is really great. The way the haze carries the light and gives it a medium to explore, and the leaf does the same. These have an ethereal quality to them I love. There is something roaming through them, something the scenery reveals that is both the scene, and something more shining through and upon it…

    Peace
    Michael

    • oh Michael…i love your words…and i love the idea something more shining through and upon it…i’m holding on to that! sending you joy appreciate your comments 😀 smiles hedy

  9. I do not understand much about photography… but I think your pictures are great 🙂

    • well i’m learning along the way…i see myself as an imagemaker…i started photographing with intention in 2011…so i imagine 2021 i will become a photographer…i just love all of it…the challenges of looking and seeing…thank you Isabel for your comment! compose a happy day ~ smiles hedy 😀
