According to Buddha

Through meditation I will stop the storm of breath, mental restlessness, and sensory disturbances raging over the lake of my mind.

where will you be when the sky comes down?
and what would you do if the strength was found?
stay right beside me when the ground starts shaking
the only sound you’ll hear is the breath we’re taking
if there is one thing i can promise you
we’ll see the light again

Hanna, Alberta ~ August 2016

  1. meditation…so true but not always so easy. Beautiful, rich colors in this set.

    • I suck at meditation unless I’m with a teacher who can guide me…lucky to have 2 or 3 minutes of it…it’s a challenge for sure…walking meditation seem to work better for me Mic ☺️ have a peaceful day ~ smiles Hedy

  2. Just wonderful breathtaking skies in these photos. you live with such lovely countryside around you. It is too urbanized and sprawled around me, I must travel a ways to get to interesting landscapes such as these. Have a peaceful day.

    • It’s a beautiful area Hanna…let me see what those nickelback boys grew up in…it’s lovely land and big sky…also a delicious pie store on Main Street…it’s been a funny beginning but it’s only getting better ☺️😀 thank you Terry have a fun day too!

      • I just caught on this is #500, wonderful. I have been a little slow in the mind this week. HAve a great day.

        • You’ve got lots happening Terry ☺️ all good I’ve been slow too had a little fever this week just to remind me to slow down…have a relaxing day 😃 many smiles Hedy

  4. Wow! Your pictures are all so awesome, Hedy! Totally love those wonderful skies and clouds 🙂 Have a very lovely day! Sarah xxx

  5. Really great photography! Beautiful scenes

  6. Wow–you captured some truly stunning changes in the sky! Beautiful! Love that double rainbow and the hay. Hay is precious again this year because it has been difficult to harvest with all the rain–as you likely know. I have a very special girl who eats mostly hay so it makes me happy to see hay! Happy Autumn and International day of Peace! <3

    • yes today is the first day of fall…and next snow 😀 i really enjoy Hanna and the landscapes…and yes i know the hay stories although we no longer have a horse…i know these stories and the costs…have a fun filled peaceful day Raven Wolfe…always appreciate your kind words <3 Smiles hedy

  7. Wonderful colors, I love the sky! 🙂

  8. Trying to find some place of peace…difficult, but magic when it arrives. Your second shot here is amazing, reminds me of my hometown from where I just returned from…sigh…nothing quite like the freshness of the countryside. Wishing you well Hedy ~

    • thanks kindly Randall 😀 yes i too love the land and wide open spaces more than ever…perhaps you’re on a new adventure…trust you are well and can’t wait to see your next post! many smiles ~ Hedy

  9. Majestic, splendid and threatening skies. They have made me dream. The Sky Is everywhere, always on us! <3

    • oh Jacintº i just love that The Sky Is everywhere, always on us!❤…i will always remember that…reminds me of my friend who always says no need to look at the weather stations or weather apps…just look up! i appreciate your comments…have a fun day ~ smiles hedy

  10. I thoroughly enjoy the verses you end your posts with and am assuming they are all yours? Really wonderful!

    • Jana i do write but on this sloppy blog i use the words of music…i tag and acknowledge all the musicians i borrow from i have this on my page i call ĭn-tĕn’shəns
for this post i used the music of Nickelback as this was their hometown…when you click the highlighted words the song will play..if you care to hear it…thanks you asking…it matters to me to acknowledge artists…compose a wonderful day ~ smiles hedy 😀

      • LOL Hedy….they are all so lyrical. I thought…”Hedy would be a great song writer” Well…just catching up here…smiles!

        • 😀 song writing would be fun…and yes Jana i too know that feeling of of catching…maybe we never do? who knows…life is eventful…thanks for your comments Jana…smiles hedy 😀
