I am a spark from the Infinite.
I am not flesh and bones.

the birds they sang
at the break of day
start again
i heard them say
don’t dwell on what
has passed away
or what is yet to be.
ah the wars they will
be fought again
the holy dove
she will be caught again
bought and sold
and bought again
the dove is never free.

ring the bells that still can ring
forget your perfect offering
there is a crack in everything
that’s how the light gets in.

  12. So this time I’m more enamoured of Buddha and the brilliant Leonard Cohen than I am of the photographs, though the third, fifth and sixth are all pretty amazing.

  14. very ‘noir esque’

  15. B&W, a good choice for these magnificent pictures! I wish you a happy weekend! 🙂

  16. Beautiful photos, Hedy. Looking at these I thought how interesting we humans are, creating all these geometries and corridors of light on the landscape. I thought you revealed something unmistakably good in our most intuitive acts of building. Something we take for granted I think, and often aggrandize without successfully adding much to it, but in these older structures it seems to somehow shine through… In your images anyway! 🙂

    Peace
    Michael

    • you’re kind to say Michael…it is an amazing castle…nothing like it here in Alberta…i admire these buildings…knowing the walls have many stories…om shanti have a happy writing week and a joyful sunday ~ smiles hedy 😀
