they paved paradise
and put up a parking lot
with a pink hotel, a boutique
and a swinging hot spot
don’t it always seem to go
that you don’t know what you’ve got
’till it’s gone
they paved paradise
and put up a parking lot

  1. great post –

  2. You got some nice street shots here, Hedy. Cheers! Have a great week!

    • thank you Chris…i love street photography makes me feel alive and i can talk with people 😀 earlier this week i met a woman who asked me to photograph her neighbourhood and how the Katz Group has changed where they live…in this post i attempted to show ‘behind’ the Rogers Centre…it has been a contested story for us in Edmonton…although sports typically wins here…no surprise to me…here is a little link…http://www.metronews.ca/news/edmonton/2016/09/26/frustration-over-downtown-edmonton-parking-lots-near-arena.html

      • It’s disturbing when ones neighborhood changes and not for the better. I think it is great to show the change and raise consciousness of the effect the Katz group is having. Good work. Cheers!

        • it’s my researcher brain…and yes how can i use images to communicate…knowing that looking and listening is hard work…it’s all already decided…abuse of poer comes as no surprise to me…i try my best to capture the beauty, you know Chris 😀 thanks for your comments appreciated…
