when logic and proportion
have fallen sloppy dead
and the white knight is talking backwards
and the red queen’s off with her head

frozen berries ~Edmonton, Alberta ~ October 2016

  1. Oh Hedy what a beautiful series this is. I had no idea what it was you’d photographed, nor needed to know. The sheer beauty of form, texture and colour was enough.
    Alison

    • 😀 thank you kindly Alison…just needed to play but then i like the turquoise and blues so i went with it…glad you like it…they are little tiny frozen berries from the woods that i collected in the summer that i froze in water…i do like the macro experience…have a beautiful day ~ Hedy 😀 <3

  2. One of my favorite songs of all time. Interesting that I was listening to “Comin’ Back To Me” as I was reading your post 😉 Great photos, Hedy….

  7. Very nice macro series, love the idea of taking simple items and doing something different with them. White Rabbit brings back such memories of my teenage years, carefree and experimenting. Buddha tells us all but especially photographers to keep your eyes and mind open and observant or we shall miss so much around us. Have a wonderful evening and day tomorrow.

    • You’re so kind Terry ☺️ thanks for your words and yes I do believe one can make or find beauty every day 🤓 it was a lot of fun on a grey snowy day…now off to see if I can see some bison ☺️ a little adventure thanks for your good wishes and you have a snappy day too 😎
