According to Buddha
From joy people are born; for joy they live; in joy they melt at death. Death is an ecstasy, for it removes the burden of the body and frees the soul of all pain springing from body identification. It is the cessation of pain and sorrow.
i’ll talk to your eyes
that i love so much
but if you go
i won’t cry
though the good is gone
from the word goodbye
if you go away
as i know you must

And Death Shall Have No Dominion…
the older and sloppier i get Arnold…i try to follow nothing…it began in a mystery and ends in a mystery…appreciate your thoughtful comment! smiles for a brand new 24 hours 😀
Just a rip off from some better wordsmith than I…Have a good one
perhaps, a Dylan Thomas poem 😀 but i don’t know ~ have a happy day too!
Yup. And too you too!
thanks Arnold! 😀
You still had some serious and fresh snow this month. These are wonderful. I love how it clings to the trees, Hedy. Cheers
yup serious and may as well be if it’s grey i just assume to be covered in white 😀 spring snow is sticky…smiles Chris have a happy day in Boston…appreciate your kindness 😀
Spring snow is tricky. We seem past it, finally. Now it is April showers. Enjoy the rest of your week. 😎

<3 thank you Eddie…your words are so heartfelt…i appreciate your kindness…BIG thank YOU! 😀
Such a beautiful set of images, Hedy! The lone white gull is superb…
Hmmm. Still a little snowy in Alberta…still wishing you a wonderful spring day. 🙂

The seagull picture is really beautiful!

Reblogged this on luc20090's Blog.
always appreciated Luc! 😀
You’re always welcome Hedy 🙂
😀 !
Absolutely gorgeous snowy trees–and the feathers on the seagull’s wings–wow!
This last snowfall was so lovely. I love seeing fresh animal tracks–the only time I get a “picture” of what my pups find so fascinating.
wasn’t it Raven Wolfe…i love to see the birds…and yes i saw lots of duck and geese tracks…now it’s muddy 😀 have a happy day with your critters 😀
You’re still in winter mode?
After some spring days it is coolish here again – but that looks too cold for summer.
Though I love the photos!
actually Rabirius this is the weather we have here in the north…it’s melting just a few light flakes floating…which is pretty too…like a snow globe…i always liked those 😀 have a beautiful day 😀
Well, I’m not sure I’d survive a winter in Canada. 🙂
ahhhhh Rabirius we live in the land of coats! lots of layers you’d be fine…maybe Vancouver would be better(ish) 😀 but the north id beautiful too! smiles 😀
I’m sure the North is beautiful. And I also like snowy landscapes. But they are too cold for me.
Yes, I know the Pacific coast is a lot milder…
…but I guess I’d rather travel to Canada in the summer. Then I could also explore the North and the mountains. I’m sure I’ll love the landscape there.
I have no doubt! And yes the terrain is beautiful so make sure to let me know when you visit! 🤓😀
I’ll definitely do that!
Good! 🤗😀
Wonderful winter photos. And yes we are whole again in death, my late wife can now breath easily and run as she never could.
i do love spring snow…and yes Anton is on another plane and he is free too…i’m happy about that for him <3 hugs Terry enjoy your grandson! 😀
Back now, it was a wonderful time with my youngest grandson. Best part was the 2 down here got to go and see their cousin and celebrate the birthday also. Just a magical time was had by all. Happy days to you Hedy.
wonderful to nurture YOU and next week we all get grandson attention…i do like babies and dogs 😀 thank you Terry!
One of the best versions of ‘If You Go Away’ Ever! And beautiful photographs.
Alison
i agree Emiliana Torrini is underrated to me…thank you for your comment Alison 😀
all are excellent.
thank you kindly Gavin…have a wonderful day 😀
I wondered what might possibly follow your last post, and this is what. That middle gull in arrested flight, coming where it does, being surrounded by so much snow and beauty and intense feeling, it’s a breath-catcher. Keep being present, and take care.
thank you kindly Lynn…yes i’m doing my work to stay grounded…these snowy days add to the beyond beige tone…so i love the white blanket but of course some sunshine and warmth on my bones would feel good too…the seagulls totem message of ‘It’s time to vocalize your thoughts, words or intentions. Speak up!’…and i like that for many reasons in this moment…yoga and mediation and my camera keep me present…i appreciate your kind comments…have a wonderful day photographing Lynn 😀
Spring snow, wildlife, Jacques Brel…perfect combination, Hedy.
It was a beautiful morning Van 😀
Looks great! 🙂 Like all your posts of course.. 😉 In the last few days I actually had no time to check my reader and new posts that often, but I like all of them! 🙂 Even if this one makes me feel cold… I am so happy about spring! 😉
Lisah 😀 i so appreciate your kind words…appreciate you saying…and yes spring is wonderful too! compose a beautiful day ~ smiles hedy 😀 😀 😀
