According to Buddha
Divine Mother, teach me to open the eyes of my inner perceptions so that I may behold Thy healing light shining within me, around me.
it’s a mother’s intuition
to make a little space
it’s her quiet mission to tidy up her place
a mother’s intuition is like a kangaroo’s
she hops around, she mops the ground
she fusses over you
a mother
with her intuition
will know just what to do

What a great series of photos, drawing me right in, and I had no idea you were in a zoo either. The darkness and the first photograph, setting the scene, work so well with the owls.
thank you kindly Lynn…i thought it made a little thought thing blending the colours from different days of photographing doesn’t work well for me some how…must be the way i think/feel that moment…yes it started with the owls…i really like owl faces 😀 have a snappy day Lynn smiles hedy 😀
Absolutely gorgeous forest pics! I find the forest environment is so healing. Love the moss and the tiny leaves coming out! The smell of poplar leaf husks is incredible–one of my favourite smells. Love the Barred Owl, too–is that in the zoo? I see and hear them quite often in the evening. The three “cuddled” up owls are adorable. Happy Mother’s day! <3 Hope you have a really nice day! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures!
me too Raven Wolfe…i like that feeling of going inside…there is so much to see no matter when or what day or time…of course a sprinkle of sunlight makes it more fun…yes a smelly spring day like today…and thank you for your kindness and lovely comments…i appreciate them <3 compose a happy day too! 😀 <3

Alex…thank you very much…smiles from Alberta! it was a peaceful walk…sparkly! 😀
what a relief… I thought you captured the owls in the wild. I am hunting these for ages now and did not get one of them. stunning images, Hedy… composition, light… perfect. happy days.
well Reinhold…i have learned a little along the way about owls and mice and photographers…i’m really an urban being…so i thought these flowed together with the light…so humble thank you for saying 😀 smiles hedy

Love the wisdom and funny we both chose the owl this week..BEAUTIFUL!
i know Kerri…and i love the messages of critters…one of the owl is apparently “The owl sees in the dark: As a spirit animal, the owl guides you to see beyond the veil of deception and illusion; it helps see what’s kept hidden. It also symbolizes the ability to cut through illusions and see the real meaning of someone’s action or state of mind.”….compose a beautiful day 😀 smiles hedy
Thank you thats awesome I love that information.
😀 smiles for a happy day Kerri!
Back at you too thank you!
