According to Buddha
When you come upon a path
that brings benefit
and happiness to all,
follow this course
as the moon
journeys through the stars.
well, it’s a marvelous night for a moondance
with the stars up above in your eyes
a fantabulous night to make romance
‘neath the cover of october skies
and all the leaves on the trees are falling
to the sound of the breezes that blow
and i’m trying to please to the calling
of your heart-strings that play soft and low
and all the night’s magic seems to whisper and hush
and all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush

Oh my, these are gorgeous. Ethereal and warm. The colors are mystical, aren’t they? You have a light touch, but there’s a lot of skill involved here! A marvelous night for a moondance, for sure. Nice to hear that again…
the pinks and purples and then this green tone…and some blues i felt i was in a dream…and yes moondance came into my mind’s eye first…felt right 😀 and yes it is a good Van Morrison tune 😀
always wondered what
that song looked like 🙂
made me giggle David…it could this way…i wonder how you would compose it? have a musical day and creative fun! ~ smiles hedy 😀
Love all of these photos–the colours are so gorgeous and they have a mystical quality to them! The trees appear almost fragile, like lichen or moss. Perfect quote and song to go with them–lovely! <3 Thank you for sharing! <3

Hi Hedy,
I’m not able to click and follow your blog (or any other blog), the slimy, wannabe muppet guru’s software SofBang, prevents me from following anyone, however, I figured out a way around the blocking spyware: go and type my email address into the follow blog form while signed out of WordPress.
Geez, what a gal has to go through to say: Satan, get thee behind me.
And for certain, Rajinder Singh Duggal, is the devil’s minion.
Love your photos!
Compose yourself a joyful day, dear Hedy.
Love and hugs, Genie
hmmmmm well Genie always ways around slime! In my experience the evil do get caught…it’s just a matter of time before they slip up…you are surrounded by love so i send you joy and more love!!! BIG hugs Genie xo
Haha, that’s funny, Hedy, that I’ve always been around slime, too true, but it’s good to laugh about it. And yes, the evil do get caught because there is no perfect crime, and the slimy wannabe muppet guru messed up big time with me by declaring that my photos are his company’s copyright photos, well, he couldn’t prove it becuse one can’t prove lies and theft, and leaving an electronic trail was stupid but good for me because WordPress had to restore my blog: Lifestream
People are so outraged about this that when I joined Facebook — within 2 days I was at the limit of friends allowed: 5,000 people asked to be friends with me and now I’ve been asked to create a page by the peole who can’t be on my friends list due to the maximum limit.
And they are all furious with the fake sant, which goes to show that evil does not triumph in the final analysis.
Indeed, I am surrounded by Love and feel it to my core that the great Goddess is helping me with Her own hands, my faith in Goddess has been strengthened because of this painful ordeal.
Lots of love and hugs, dear friend,
Genie xoxo 😘
good morning Genie <3 WP is very good about keeping slime away i agree 😀 😉 i will check for your FB page…and yes try as best we can to keep nasty people away 😀 i prefer the believing game over the doubting game…sending you much love and all good things! hugs and love for a wonderful day hedy <3 :-*
Hi Hedy, I created the Facebook page but then discovered that Facebook wants money every month to show the page in the reader feed, forget that, I’ll just be on Facebook as a member, if you are on Facebook, let me know, I’ll ask you to be my friend there I’ve left room for a few friends which is why I left the number just under 5,000.
Or you can ask me to be your friend there, here is my profile link: https://www.facebook.com/people/Genie-Gypsy/100018386236269
Beautiful images accompanied by an excellent choice of lyrics!
humble thank you Emilio i appreciate you saying ~ smiles hedy 😀
You are an “eerie” (excellent) photographer Hedy. Congrats.
(Barefoot girls dancin’ in the moonlight…)
also i love bare feet 😀 very much…yoga’s good for that 😉 appreciate your kind and thoughtful responses Brian happiness to you and your loved ones 😀 hope they too are all safe! smiles
I understand Canadians and Scandinavians took their shoes off when entering a home. 🙂
I’m Dutch Canadian so I do 🤓☺️
Yeah. The Dutch too. And the Japanese. I think it has to do with the soggy snow outside. Tot ziens.
you speak Dutch Brian? mine is sloppy but i understand it well…i went to Japan once i also loved it there so clean and organized i love that feeling…we had a wee bit of snow yesterday for a late summer surprise…i love snow but not ice…heb een mooie dag … mijn gedachten zijn met Mexico en de mensen die door de aardbeving worden verwoest <3
My Dutch is much sloppier. Lived in Amsterdam as a child. Picked a word here and there. Got the gist of your thoughts. Had to find help for aardbeving and verwoest. Then I got all of it. Dankje wel… <3
It is very sad. Particularly for the children at the school. They are still trying to rescue some. Tot ziens Hedy.
often i wish i was living in the Netherlands…i love it there and feel very comfortable there…i dream of leaving etown 😀
I had a feeling you might have that dream. Holland is nice. For me it was a weather shock in between two African posts of my parents, but it was also the learning of an enormous freedom. At ten, I had my bike and I could ride everywhere. By my own self! I didn’t mind peddling in the rain… 🙂
i’ve long felt a inside part of me that always yearned to be there…not here…i’ve tired to plot out ways to go…but this script i’m in is where i am in this moment…i do know i want to leave etown…that’s my mantra at this moment…i grew up with a lot of freedom…i love riding my bike still…but no longer in the snow ^_^ 😀 hope you’re well…many friends i think about in the Caribbean and the crisis…my empathy feels even more heightened…sending hugs and joy! ^_^ 😀
Thank you. Joy much needed in our neck of the woods. Wanderlust is not a disease, it is a condition. Don’t fight it. Take a plane. Or a bus… 🙂
for sure…flight to Regina late this week 😀
Wonderful. Marvelous night for a moondance and for a walk under the stars taken pictures.
😀 indeed Alex…this is right after dark…and the corn moon was so bright! smiles many!!!! 😀
Very beautiful. The mist makes it very special.
