According to Buddha

The wise look upon childhood, youth, old age, life, and death as passing dramas; hence everything entertains them.

i was dreaming in my dreaming
of an aspect bright and fair
and my sleeping it was broken
but my dream it lingered near
in the form of shining valleys
where the pure air recognized
and my senses newly opened
i awakened to the cry
that the people have the power
to redeem the work of fools
upon the meek the graces shower
it’ s decreed the people rule

pomegranates ~ November 2017

  1. I love that second shot.

  2. I like every shot. Beautiful thought to sing every morning under the shower of bliss.

  3. ahhh yes!
    to have the wisdom
    of just one humble
    pomegranate seed 🙂

  4. Life’s a drama but truly an adventure. Love the second capture. Have a fun week Hedy.

    • thanks for saying Terry…everyone’s on the stage of life…everyone is where they are suppose to be…someone taught me that…yes have a fun week! 😀

  5. Very cool, Hedy. I couldn’t figure out what it was. Have a great week. Cheers!

  6. Speaking of entertaining, these photos sure are dramatic! The colors and composition on the second one are great – that would be really nice in the kitchen!

  7. Beautiful colours and composition. Have a lovely week Hedy.

  8. that last shot is “bloody” awesome 😀

  9. Wow, I think I never saw a pomegranate that close.

  10. “A study in scarlet”?
    🙂

  11. ….unbelievable, Hedy. Such a great story…. …and then, in the end, reduced to colors (and the whole story) at a wooden working plate.. …THAT is story-telling. Chapeau, Madame! 🙂 smiles to you! 🙂 🙂

    • humble thank you…that’s really nice to read Markus…always fun as i can eat them afterwards 😀 hope you have a fun weekend with your loved ones…smiles over the pond! 😀

  12. I don’t think I have ever seen pomegranates looking soo good! 🙂

  13. I like the color. And the spoon.

  14. Indeed. We can view the actions of humanity from the human perspective and be perplexed, or we can view it from the perspective of the gods and be amused.

  15. it’s wonderful story that you told with the buddha quote and your photos. Impressing storytelling and technique! 🙂 🙂 smiles to you over the pond
