According to Buddha

Love outlasts death and the ravages of time. All those that I have loved before, in this or other lifetimes, I love the same now.

there’s a river of love that runs through all time
but there’s a river of grief that floods through our lives
it starts when a heart is broken into
by the thief of belief in anything that’s true
but there’s a river of love that runs through all time

  1. So beautiful and so true

  2. I like also the atmosphere in the images. Very thoughtful.

  3. Impressive: nature and how you captured it. Happy days, Hedy.

    • humble thank you Reinhold….i’m on a new (ish) foot bridge…i think the views are lovely…and it is very very quiet…have a beautiful day ~ smiles hedy

  4. Just wonderful photos and so true is Buddha and the song. Wonderful ending of the week to you my friend.

    • just felt right in the right moment…grieving is a journey…music and sleep…and just the right amount of humans worked well this week for me…now we have snow and a new chapter….many smiles dear Terry…happy adventuring! 😀

  5. Wow! The song is wonderful and so are the pictures. You are miracle in finding the right music with the images. The rivers in Europe are overflowing because of the many rains lately. But then – the more river the more love 🙂

    • thank you Peter i also like the words of T Bone Burnett…words are often superfluous…and yes i’ve read today about Paris…hoping you’re safe as i also see rivers in the Netherlands from a few weeks ago….we have snow hooray….i appreciate your comments…i love music and pictures very much…poetry too 🙂

  6. I was going to guess that these are icy shots. Cool patterns that capture the weather there. Have a great week, Hedy. Cheers

  7. Gorgeous!

  8. Those effects work so well with the river ice images….they convey the quiet….

  9. i’m so cold
    & looking
    for a heater
    to continue
    listening 🙂

    • it’s really not that cold David ….too me…lots of layers…we have snow now which makes me happy (ier) i also like the lyrics of T Bone Burnett…smiles hedy 😀

  10. “there’s a river of love that runs through all time” — wonderful line and expression! 🙂

  11. Oh my that quote is beautiful .. I love the effect on the images. 🙂

  12. Excellent. I like the papery overlay.

  13. like paintings on crumbled paper… …impressing how you used the ice a layer. many smiles to you, Hedy 🙂 🙂
