According to Buddha

When you run after your thoughts, you are like a dog chasing a stick: every time a stick is thrown, you run after it. Instead, be like a lion who, rather than chasing after the stick, turns to face the thrower. One only throws a stick at a lion once.

what’s chasing you? ooh-ooh-ooh oooh
what’s chasing you? ooh-ooh-ooh oooh

i don’t understand a single word that you say
baby are you talking to me?
words that twist around a wire again make
you send through all your secrets to your heart (this line i’m not sure)

what’s chasing you? ooh-ooh-ooh oooh
what’s chasing you? ooh-ooh-ooh oooh

I keep the lion in mind. I’m already a sack of bones. I hope he stays quiet.

  2. Great post!

  4. The capture of your dog put a smile on my face, looks so happy, full of life and just enjoying life. Happy Valentines Day my friend.

    Beyond cuteness 💛

  10. such an excellent photo.

  11. Wow, what a pup portrait this is! (I can picture little balls of ice between the toes, ouch!) Happy weekend, Hedy!

  12. Oh what a gorgeous pooch! Lovely shot … I’m still absorbing that quote and wondering about that lion! What’s your dog’s name Hedy 🙂

  13. What a tongue!

  14. that is so cool… …powerful, waggish and sublime… ….you can see so many features in that face. I guess we all love that photo… …execpt the postman 😀 😉 smiles to you, Hedy! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • yes she is not fond of males runners…or men who deliver things to the house…she also doesn’t like ppl in hoodies…she’s a lot of dog…big heart but tough, yet gentle…she’s my protector…I feel vey safe with her 🙂 I 💕 her vey much 😀 smiles over the pond Markus!

  15. Though this dog is probably quite friendly, the close-up and the contrast of the red tongue turns it into a near Stephen King mutt.
    646?
    (Puzzled emoticon?)

    • she’s a tough mutt also she has put back the weight she lost from her vaccination damage…she’s back to 107 lbs 😀 but now we have another health issue…next week she has a surgery for a mast on her foot…she’s a great dog…she’s my protector…she’s stubborn and a survivor I’m doing all I can to make her days happy 😊 yes the numbers for my posts can be my biggest challenge as I’m not fond of numbers ~ smiles hedy 🙂

      • Vaccination dammage? How terrible. But 100 lbs seems like a BIG recovery. (How old is she?)
Numbers, numbers… are a thing I came to learn. For work. (Market research and stats). Numbers are perfect. So simple and true. 🙂

  16. What a brilliant shot! Juno is gorgeous and she’s a very lucky doggy too! 😉
