According to Buddha

In the astral world, even though you can cognize the shore as solid and the ocean as liquid, there is no drowning in the astral liquid. You differentiate the solids from the liquids only as varying vibrations of light, which do not clash with each other. You can glide just as easily through “solid” light and ‘liquid” light.

holy water, cleansing rain
floating through the stratosphere
blind, but yet you see so clear

there is a light
you have inside you
can touch

Skeleton Lake (Cheply Sakhahigan)  Athabasca County ~ February 2018

  1. post, photography, extraordinary thinking. the day here is overcast with rain, and suddenly the sun appears on your post. thank you so much

    • humble thank you Fernando…it was a very fresh day well week…it’s been bitter here but it is warming i even hear some birds chirping…they are happy too! smiles and thank you for your comment ~ smiles hedy 🙂

  2. Our ice is almost all melted due to a February thaw. Nobody will be out on snow machines today. You have to go up north (where the Bob houses were) to see real ice. The tracks in the snow are great photo subjects. Cheers!

  3. This reminds me of the Olympics and seeing the ice skaters perform. They seem to glide from one world to another as they make their way around the ice. They are so amazing to watch as these thoughts are to imagine.
such amazing worlds we live in,
    love to you Hedy

    • we do live in a wild wild world…some days hard to believe what humans can choose to do…i’ve seen so little of the Olympics without telly…i remember skating and how much i enjoyed that…thank you for your kindness…sending joy and love back to you Eddie 🙂 smiles hedy

  4. the views!

‘the’ radio caroline? listened to it for hours 😉

    • i can’t say i did…but i did read….Radio Caroline is a British radio station founded in 1964 by Ronan O’Rahilly to circumvent the record companies’ control of popular music broadcasting in the United Kingdom and the BBC’s radio broadcasting monopoly…our music histories are fascinating….hugs Inge 😀 have a musical day 😉 😀 <3

  5. Very beautiful! We are due to have some serious frost next week. It’s wonderful weather now, blue sky, sun, no snow but cold and it’s getting colder. I’m going to get my skates ‘out of the grease’ as we say here. 🙂

  6. Beautiful set, Hedy! Wide spaces and great clouds and sky; I like the post-processing here too…so nice! ❄️🙂

    • humble thank you Mic…it’s dramatic warm…seemed fitting in -27…i’m without LR at this moment…but still capturing daily images…smiles from warming etown 😀

  7. Dancing on the astral plane indeed. There’s the conventional existence and then there’s the mystical. It’s all a matter of where you want to go and and what you want to experience. The beauty is the choice is ours.

  8. Writings, captures and song all wonderful. Have a happy ending to the seek my friend.

Wonderful. smiles to you over the pond 🙂 🙂 🙂 wish you a wonderful day!

    • fun weekend away with friends at the lake…and yes it was a letting go experience…fun to see the ice fishing and skiing…all so Canadian to me…I do work to calm my hedy head daily…and try to feel instead of think and think 🤔….that’s why I enjoy my little black box and the photography process…it’s like a meditation for me…thank YOU for all your thoughtful responses I enjoy reading them very much thank you again Markus 😀

      • that sounds like a fun day… …I know ice fishing from Russia.. …just by watching these guy I calm down… ..and yes, my markus head need the photography as a meditation as well to keep everything in balance. Wish you more nice winter days like that one. 🙂 🙂

  11. You certainly have (need) a strong light inside to survive those grey months.
Now the snow does reflect a bit of light. Amplify it.
Did I see correctly: was that a skier pulled by that snowcat?
    Amazed emoticon.
The happiest of all was the dog.

  12. I like those landscapes. The light and the beautiful line of the horizon.
