According to Buddha

The reflection, the verisimilitude, of life that shines in the fleshly cells from the soul source is the only cause of human’s attachment to his/her body; obviously she would not pay solicitous homage to a clod of clay. A human being falsely identifies himself with his physical form because the life currents from the soul are breath-conveyed into the flesh with such intense power that human mistakes the effect for a cause, and idolatrously imagines the body to have life of its own.

oh, take the time to waste a moment
oh, face it where the lines are broken
oh, name a price to all that’s living
oh, never ask to be forgiven

Braga, Portugal ~ April 2018

  1. No self-no problem.

  2. How to obscure normalilty and thus show it. I love this.

  3. Fascinating captures.

  4. Very mysterious, Hedy. They’re like moments in some other space/time.

  5. The brilliance shines through yet again. m/l

  6. I love these, especially the first two.

    • that camera captured my attention…imaging working upside down and backwards…not like my little black box at all 🤓☺️💫 happy day in Japan smiles ☀️

  7. You once again capture the spirit of Portugal that makes me wish to visit myself and feel the incredible lighting and the warmth it must create… The unique view of the world through your viewfinder never ceases to amaze. Wishing you a great weekend Hedy ~ cheers.

    • humble thank you Randall…Braga is a beautiful place…I could feel the stories in the walls…yes we have summer like weather off to the river with my mutts 😎 compose a joyful day too ~ smiles and joy your way 😁💫

  8. very inspiring – thanks for that

  9. I have my doubts about the soul… 🙂
But the images are challenging. Where did you find a… what do you call it? Chambre noire? No. It’s something else… Hmmm

    • once I had that doubt too Brian…but I’m opening up to the soul part in me now…I’m a slow learner….the Chambre noire was in a gallery or store…the people were setting things up or just opening…I didn’t bother them…it was in Braga 🤓☺️💫
