According to Buddha

The consciousness flowing with the life force through the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch makes human conscious of matter.  But by meditation when consciousness and life force are withdrawn from the five senses, the astral nature of the life force, along with the consciousness and other aroused divine forces in the spinal centers, look like rivers of light flowing upward toward the ocean of light of spirit in the brain.

be on my side, i’ll be on your side, baby
there is no reason for you to hide
it’s so hard for me, staying here all alone
when you could be taking me for a ride

down by the river
i shot my baby
down by the river

    for listening to neil 🙂

  6. Wonderful Hedy! It’s like going back in time, not the fake nostalgia from sepia filters and the like, but to a strangely authentic past that probably never really existed but because of some mysterious timelapse now does.

  10. Beautiful low lightss adding calmess to it all…

  11. Gorgeously nostalgic, Hedy. You really have such an eye for choosing colors and processing styles to fit the mood of the image and story. What a timeless summer scene – it instantly brought back a scene I photographed in a very distant place from your river geographically, but believe me, it had the same essence – an extended family group playing and barbecuing on the shores of an island on the western coast of Florida. Your last shot has a perfect elegiac feeling, beautifully rested into place.

    • I’ve been having LR experiments also those sliders move and can be manipulated more than I imagined also just fun to play…but for sure it has those ordinary moments…makes me think about time and space…I do like this place and spend a lot of time by the river…I like it 😎☀️✌️💫
