According to Buddha

To be humble is to shrink our ego until we are small enough to enter another’s eyes and [to] reside in their heart and mind.

i won’t live a life
on my knees

yesterday right after dark ~ Etown ~ November 2018

  1. Amazing colours and effects.

    • I played doing some ‘dragging’ up and down with my camera very fast…and I liked the effects and the feelings of them…thank you for saying Rabirius ~ smiles hedy ☺️💫

  2. Beautiful colors. They are so soft. Have a great week, Hedy.

    • it was a very fresh…I was intentional on ‘dragging’ my camera up and down…I was trying to create a different feeling in the woods…it was fun ☺️🤓 have a great teaching week as well Chris ~ smiles from snowy etown hedy 😁

  3. Absolutely beautiful! Love the colours–and trees, always! (Thought I would see if I can comment again…)

    • oh dear Raven Wolfe…yes so nice to hear from you…BIG strong hugs and sending you joy…it’s been beautiful aside from the ice…I do look forward to a blanket of snow…enjoy your horses and dogs ❤️❣️💫

  4. Text and photo’s absolutely wonderful. What can I say. It’s al in the eye.

  5. Your post coagulates the making of a soldier; break their ego’s down in pieces, let them go through the night and send them out to raise hell.

  6. Oh, those rich, November colors! Do you ever miss, Hedy? I don’t think so.

    • ☺️🤓✌️ humble thank you Lynn…my father would often tell me ‘it’s hit and miss’…just keep on going…of course be aware of the wake you leave…my intentions for my sloppy blog works well for me…and it’s cool others follow along and comment…it’s a wild experience actually 🤓😊🙃

  7. All three so beautiful. Especially the middle one. I’m with bluebrightly – I don’t think you ever miss.
    Alison

    • humble thank you Alison…I think it’s hit and miss…that saying makes me smile…I feel/think…and reflect and move on…most of all it’s fun for me…you know…it’s my teacher/researcher brain…it’s also a hedy head blurt or release ☺️🤓 I liked the colours it was an amazing sunrise…and I learn more along the way ~ smiles hedy

      • A lot of what you say here is how I feel too – fun, reflecting, head blurt, etc. I can’t not photograph. Spent a glorious day at a migratory bird sanctuary – got some great shots. Looking forward to processing them.

        • well I’m following you Alsion you’re a talented photographer and you have a great eye…I always love to see what you’ve created 🤓💫 smiles for a creative new day ~ smiles hedy

  8. Another beautiful series, Hedy. 🙂

    • I haven’t painted in so so long…I love my little black box I was shaking it…to make sure it was total dry…took a wee spill with it on the ice/snow so I thought I blur and drag and make sure it’s all working…it’s a rathe tough little camera I’d say 🤓☺️ have a creative day Gavin ~ smiles hedy 😊

  9. Wonderful post Miss Hedy .. thank you 😊

  10. A humble yet bright light.
(And I went down on my knees and I began to pray…)
