According to Buddha

For hatred does not cease by hatred at any time: hatred ceases by love, this is an old rule.

yeah, we all could use a little mercy now
i know we don’t deserve it but we need it anyhow
we hang in the balance dangle ‘tween hell and hallowed ground

  1. Yes, there is way too much hatred in this world at this time. We need understanding, compassion and communication. Have a great week Hedy.

  2. today i will love
    the brrrr cold 🙂

  3. I like the train.

  4. Oh I *love* the train photo!
    A. hugs from rainy Paris.

    • it was so loud 🤓

yes enjoy Paris and your travels…sending you joy and all good things…have fun! look forward to seeing your photographs…smiles hedy 🌞☺️✌️❤️

  5. Gorgeous!❤️

  6. oh, those grain elevators…

    • I ‘love’ them and the light was breaking though the storm…it was beautiful to me ☺️ have a happy day Penny ~ smiles hedy ✌️

  7. Quote: ” hatred ceases by love, this is an old rule.” Well, it seems quite obvious to me that love does not possess the power to overcome either hatred or hate. Love is a worn out and if I may say, “prostituted” concept beyond redemption. What then, some might say? Try something so seldom used yet so powerful: compassion. Not love, compassion, they are diametrical opposites, though few are aware of that fact.

    • love feels personal and often messy…includes expectations…compassion feels selfless…includes generosity…kindness…I don’t know Sha’Tara…I still feel a fusion can exist between them both…but I need to feel a vibration or they are just words…just as I feel when you write “worn out and if I may say, “prostituted” concept beyond redemption”…I have this feeling around several words these days 🤓 …not sure what’s working anymore…it’s all so loud…I yearn/work towards equanimity…

as a sloppy buddhist 😉🤓☺️ the The Dalai Lama writes, “Compassion is the wish for another being to be free from suffering; love is wanting them to have happiness.”

thank you for your thoughtful comment Sha’Tara…appreciated 🤓 smiles hedy

  8. Trains and love. A good combination. Great pictures.

    • you’re very kind to say…and I appreciate your comments Alex…sending you all good things for a joyful weekend ~ hugs hedy ☺️💫✌️❤️

  9. Another super collection Miss Hedy … I’m a cloud fan, but it just so happens I’m keen on trains too 😃👏

    • me too ☺️ the sunlight shining that morning made the everything looks so shiny…and the train was very loud…enjoy your gardens we continue to be in a vortex of very fresh temperatures….I’m yearning heat now ☺️🤓❤️

  10. Saskatchewan… Always makes me wonder about my great-Uncle Gaston. One of my grandmother’s brothers. Born around 1880 in India. Emigrated to “Saska” around 1905. The winters must have been hard. 🙂

    • wow that would have been a shock arriving “Saska” …endless land…and such harsh weather 🤓…very friendly humans (mostly) I do believe Saskatchewan is underrated…now that I’ve visited over the past 3 years…there are some gems and magical spaces..I’ve been thinking a lot about my ancestors these days…stay warm…smiles from fresh etown 😊💫
