According to Buddha

When walking, as we step one foot forward, we lift the other foot up.  In the same way, we should let go of yesterday and focus on today.

a grounding walk in Camrose County No. 22 ~ August 2019

  1. The farm looks nice in BW. We always think of it in greens, but this shows us all of the forms. Have a great week, Hedy. Cheers!

  2. Today is just an anticipation of tomorrow, but when you read this assumption, it already has vanished to the past again 🙂

    • Ahhhhh yes time and space and all those assumptions…I try to stay in the ‘now’ sometimes I trip up though 🤓☺️ have a joyful day Suburban Tracks ~ smiles Hedy 😀

  3. Key words: focus on today.
    sounds good to me.
    lovely photos Hedy,
this is a beautiful rainy summer’s day

    • Thank you kindly Eddie ☺️🤗 always appreciate your words and kindness 🙏 so green here too and also a lot of rain 💚🧚‍♀️ have a magical day Smiles 😀

  4. Again, a beautiful series.

  5. Beautiful photos! This looks like a very peaceful place. Also, I really like the fact that you presented them in B&W. Have a great day.

    • Thanks kindly Micheal I have a review of some of my images and the human suggested more b/w so I’m playing with that…so it’s fun 🙃🙂🤓 have a creative day 🤗

  6. So peaceful…. 🙂

  7. So beautiful and calm Hedy, have a nice Sunday!!!

  8. Quote: “When walking, as we step one foot forward, we lift the other foot up. In the same way, we should let go of yesterday and focus on today.”
Anyone who’s walked in a field of gumbo will appreciate that saying…

    • It’s a good quote for me as I tripped and tend to get ahead of myself 🤓☺️ a field of gumbo…I’m not sure what that is…I walked in Jumbo but I don’t know 🤓🙃🙂 smiles Hedy

  9. I have been in a hole, and have missed the few blogs I follow, yours above all. Nicely done.

  10. very nice
Love the field with house in the background !

  11. Another beautiful series Hedy. The middle one is my favourite – like a painting.
    smiles from hot sunny Vancouver.
    Alison

  12. I learned that lesson about one step at a time in a visceral way when Joe had his stroke. No way to live in the past or future then! And one foot in front of the other was a great practice. These black and whites express the place and time nicely. Be well!

    • our niece has been making a remarkable recovery…she’s a fortunate young woman…she’s had top care in Vancouver…she’s talking and walking again 🙏…it’s a gift for us all especially her parents 😄…and she is so loved 💓we all have deep feelings of gratitude 💕 now I’m in cowtown 🤦‍♀️😄

      • Glad to hear it, Hedy….it was good that you could support her and her family….time to rest maybe. 🙂

        • yes it’s been so busy times…she did a presentation with the doctor on Friday about her experiences of her recovery and his research on Cerebral fat Embolism 🤓 it’s truly a miracle we are blessed 🙏 💓 she will be fine…of course she will change from such an experience but that is life…another beginning 🙃🙂🤓 thank you for your kindness and understanding Lynn 🤗💓

          • Interesting….yes, it’s going to be interesting to see what she takes from the experience. And ti sounds like already she’s giving back. It was lucky that she had access to great care – just think what the outcome might be in another country, far from major medical facilities.

          • Yes! I hope Dr. Myp Sekhon gets more research monies…apparently he didn’t think her prognosis would be good, at all…with 2 bilateral femur fractures….and apparently there is no scientific research on why she has recovered from her condition…apparently his protocal is the 1st ever to work in light the injuries she sustained…she is expected to have a full recovery🤓 also my doc brother-in-law is a gift in having her transferred…and watching…Dr. Myp Sekhon said “he had no words” seeing her recovery in 4 months! …🤓☺️ the presentation went very well according to our daughter…we all have huge feelings of gratitude ☺️🙏💓

          • Wow, interesting! It helps to have a doctor in the family, for sure, to navigate the medical systems.

          • Yes the doctors did say the family was there 100%…her mother has not left her side 24/7 for 4.5 months 🤓 and yes having insider doctor information does help, always.

          • Ps. Except for she was in ICU 🤓 I forgot that.

  13. I absolutely love the fence post

    • thank you kindly for your comments Lloyd ☺️ yes I worked on the b/w as suggested by a reviewer so I appreciate your words ~ compose a lovely day ~ smiles hedy ☺️💫
