According to Buddha

The seed of suffering in you may be strong, but don’t wait until you have no more suffering before allowing yourself to be happy.

toute la vie
est fait de jours et de nuits
le temps gris
laisse la place à l’éclaircie
c’est ainsi,
et il faut apprécier autant:
la pluie et le beau temps.

Dahlia in the veranda ~ Etown, AB ~ October 2019,

    • I also think they are gorgeous and they just keep on living and living…must be a weed 🤓☺️😄 thanks kindly for your comment Ka ☺️🙏 smiles hedy

  1. It never occurred to me that I could be happy. Or maybe I am happy and I don’t know it or really want to show it. I’ll try clapping my hands. 😉

    • 🤦‍♀️…I know Mike 🙃🙂😄…👏 I try my best to embrace all the range of emotions…be happy, again! have a fun and productive day ~ smiles and joy hedy

  2. Wise words. Beautiful images. One’s mood depends to a great degree on one’s own decision as to what’s possible…

    • ☺️ indeed each day brings us a brand new 24 hours…and lifting the corners of our mouth to our ears when we wake up 😄 I as taught that by my yoga teacher…and yes I like to believe there is always a choice and possibilities…but I don’t know ☺️🤓 💫 have a creative day Michael! 😄

      • Belief comes from a blend of information and faith. Knowing takes those components and adds experience. And so I wish you to have a creative day and add that to your experience. Because the very top of all spiritual experience and ability is creativity and creation. And that will bring the corners of our mouths to our ears.

  3. Wise words and truly beautiful images, Hedy. Terrific work.

  4. Conversion to black and white works well.

  5. Beautiful flowers. Enjoy before winter.
Et oui, après le mauvais temps vient l’éclaircie.
    Attendons l’éclaircie. 🙂
Hope all is well with you.

  6. Super quote Miss Hedy … and beautiful dahlias! Thanks for sharing 👏

    • aren’t they I imagine you can grow these…I really like them they are hardy…and since I don’t have a green thumb they work for me 🤓☺️🙂 sending joy for your summer days💫 from snowy etown❄️

  7. Such gorgeous flower petals! Maybe suffering and happiness are like black and white – both are present in varying degrees at any given time, and it’s always changing.
