According to Buddha

When energy turns in—what Buddha calls paravritti, the coming back of your energy to the source—suddenly clarity is attained. Then you can see clouds a thousand miles away, and then you can hear ancient music in the pines.

tiny fairy houses in Redwood Park, Surrey, BC ~ November 2019

  1. Ah, it’s late fall. I like the image of the leaf with the sun on it. It reminds me of stained glass.

    • so nice to see a lingering fall…it’s beautiful on the west coast…mild and no ice 🧊 …the leaves were so huge …have a crisp and happy week Chris ~ many smiles and that you for your comments ☺️🤓🙂🙃 sending joy!

“Redwood Park was established by Peter and David Brown, deaf twin brothers born to one of Surrey’s earliest pioneering families. In 1881, their father gave them 80 acres of land for their 21st birthday. Instead of farming it, the brothers planted their favourite trees from all around the world, including the largest stand of Sierra Redwood trees north of California. and built a treehouse in the middle of the new forest where they lived until their deaths in 1949 and 1958. The Brown brothers’ treehouse has burned down more than once, but you can still see a replica of the original standing in the centre of the park.”…

  2. Amazing, all these little houses for birds.

  3. I love the maple leaf, Hedy – just beautiful. As for the fairy houses, if there were only two or three I would probably find it charming, but it gets way overdone for me. If it gets people outside I guess it’s good….

  4. We are indeed away with the fairies. Thanks for the smile and sharing this special place Hedy 💛

    • well it softens my heart…fairies and all ☺️🤓…it made me smile too 😄 that you kindly for your comments Val…compose a creative day ~ smiles hedy ☺️
