According to Buddha

Our lack of compassion stems from our inability to see deeply into the nature of things.

the silence of a winter’s night
brings memories i hold inside,
remembering a blue moonlight
upon the fallen snow.

maybe i am falling down.
tell me should i touch the ground?
maybe i won’t make a sound
in the darkness all around.

walking in the woods ~ Amiskwaciwâskahikan (etown) ~ November 2019

  1. Beautiful pictures – especially the snowy dog! And also the miniscule patches of red-brown leaf in the final shot. Adrian 🙂

  2. Look at those ears. (:

  3. This is the only time I see snow anymore, thank you Hedy!
Use to love walking the dog in the snowy woods!

  4. I believe dogs see deeply into the nature of things. And you do too.

  5. Ooooh it be snowy where you are. Here is still sunshine, but cooold (at least for Van standards). Love the shot of the dog.

  6. Lovely, Hedy. 🙂

  7. The dog and the third photo – excellent. 🙂

  8. Glorious Miss Hedy! 👏👏

  9. This dog loves the snow, right? 🙂
