According to Buddha

The most exquisite paradox…as soon as you give it all up, you can have it all. As long as you want power, you can’t have it. The minute you don’t want power, you’ll have more than you ever dreamed possible.

abstractions of sympathy flora ~ etown ~ February 2020

  1. These are so intricate, Hedy. You’re so creative. I love today’s quote. Life is just like that.

    • Thank you Chris I always appreciate your kindness and for stopping by…have a productive and joyful week ~ smiles and hugs hedy ☺️🙃🙂🤗

  2. It something to think about, isn’t it, like your photos.
Enjoy a peaceful day dear friend

  3. Beautiful artworks, Hedy.

  4. That paradox is a good one. It’s the desire that keeps you away from the having.

    • and according to some Buddhist thinking…desire and ignorance lie at the root of suffering…have a lovely writing day George 🤓☺️💫 smiles hedy

      • This is true…but keep in mind our cultures drills desire into us everyday with ads, social media, news reports of how the rich live, etc. And ignorance? Seen the cost of college lately? Will post by Friday…wrote longhand yesterday in a café…nice, no interruptions, no computer. Legal pad.

        • oh yes George I remember meeting Jean Kilbourne a loooong time ago…and the rich need to thank the poor…and sadly I now live in a province that s now ruled by humans who distain education…we are surrounded by ignorance here in Alberta…and that’s why so many of us are leaving or preparing to leave…

will read your post now…so nice to have no necessary interruptions…I only enjoyed writing when I got a computer…can’t imagine long hand…but I appreciate the power of hand writing…have a wonderful day and productive week ☺️💫 smiles hedy 🙃🙂
