According to Buddha

We are all affecting the world every moment, whether we mean to or not. Our actions and states of mind matter, because we are so deeply interconnected with one another.

walking around Strathcona, Etown ~ March 2020

  1. Yes, it looks the same here Hedy. Have a great day.

  2. Same here – sadly. Great photos. Love the middle one best “other people”. And it’s funny I was just listening to Ben Harpers Glory and Consequence last night and tagged it for a future post. What a great song. Thanks for your post. I guess one thing the Virus can’t keep down – wordpress (thank god). Stay well. 🙂

    • yes I think it world wide(ish)…yes other people…I remember that from a book teaching other peoples children by Lisa Delpit…I do feel grateful…safe and healthy and yes lots and lots of music 🎶 🎹 🎵 stay well and strong Mobius and make more art ☺️🤓❣️ hugs hedy

  3. Beautiful, my dear Hedy! Yes… same here too!
    Stay safe, my friend! xoxo

  4. Thought the Buddha lines were impressive but love your lines too. In Spain the message is Yo quedame en casa, tu quedate en casa. I stay at home, you stay at home. Could become a song. Today the lines of Hello Mother, hello father came to my husband. Some humour needed. Stay safe all of you. Yes, at least we can blog.

    • thank you so much for your comments Georgina…I’ve got relatives in Spain and many other spaces in Europe…and yes…I too have needed humour…along with some headlines…and being as isolated human…with some dog walks…also please know that the words I use are from musicians and artists I’m appreciating and connecting with….here I used Glory and Consequence by Ben Harper…a long tie favourite of mine🤓hugs and sending all good things to you and your loved ones 🤗❣️ hedy

      • Thank you, let’s hope this passes without too many much suffering and the chance to renew our very wounded world. Hope all your relatives stay well and for you too. Abrazos virtuales😘😘

  5. Stay safe and healthy. Have a great upcoming week.

    • hoping you are safe and well Don ☺️🤓 it’s a strange energy here for sure 💪 we’ll get through this yet! hugs hedy 🤗

  6. So on point.

  7. Same here!
    Stay safe, Hedy!!

  8. Never has the expression, “we’re all in this together“ been more true.

  9. Hard to tell if one matters or not. I suppose one does.

  10. Such a gentle and creative way to capture the strange time we are living in.
A distance hug to you from Van.
    Alison xo

    • hugs back…yes the streets are so quiet…no traffic…and yes these days…indeed strange energies…hoping you’re resting…and perhaps, looking at your photographs from India ☺️🤓 looking forward to see more…be cozy and enjoy some naps too ☺️🤗xo

  11. Stay safe Hedy.

    • I am…it’s a strange vibe here…staying off 24/7 news matters…of course this crisis can’t end soon enough ☺️🙂🙃I’ going with the believing game…hopefully we learn from the docs and scientists who have been working on this COVID-19…the numbers here are rising…highest increase today 🤓…

  12. Great quote Hedy, stay safe and healthy!!!

    • you too dear Paulo…hope you’re ok…we are doing okay here in Alberta…it will be a while but we will move through and create new stories tot live by ☺️🤗🙃🙂 hugs hedy

  13. Cool pictures, the same here in Hamburg …stay healthy Hedy ! All the best, Jürgen

  14. Weird sensation isn’t it? Here in Mexico, I fear the economic backlash. There is no alternative to lockdown, but the majority of the people here need their fortnightly paycheck to eat. And so many businesses a re shutting dow, and may never reopen… There could be violence…
    Stay safe.
    🙏🏻💕

    • …who knows seems all so unknown and uncertain…I’ve been listening to urban designers and academics who talk about the opening up…I try to stay in the moment…but also try to imagine what next…you know…I’m not sensing violence here…albeit an increase in domestic violence … which is heartbreaking for so many…cooking and cleaning a lot ☺️🤓 smiles hedy

      • Canadians seem to be measured people. Though it’s a shame domestic violence is on the increase. Seems to be in France too. What kind of a breed in mankind?
And yes, cooking and cleaning a lot. The house is pristine… 🙂

      • I think we will see the worst and the best of human beings. Worst: hoarding, letting old people die, making a buck on fear. The best: cooperation, voluntary work, helping others in need. A very old friend of mine in France is working with an association of software companies to develop a programme to connect all retirement homes nationally. Right now, each and every one is in total lockdown and elderly are dying by dozens. There seems to not even be a direct connection to the ministry of health. That programme would end that…

  15. Brilliant, Hedy, take those messages that are full of mixed emotions but also hopeful and reflect the confusion with more reflections. 😉 Great idea, and as always, so well executed.
