According to Buddha

Remember, we are all affecting the world every moment, whether we mean to or not. Our actions and states of mind matter, because we’re so deeply inner connected with one another. Working on our own consciousness is the most important thing that we are doing at any moment, and being love is the supreme creative act.

my heart is spilling over
crashing on the ground
i can’t see what’s around me
but soon i’ll come round
my faith is in the balance
of a million tiny words
so i return to silence

time just after dark ~ a day or so ago ~ Etown ~ April 2020

  1. I love the bit of mist in the first two photos, Hedy. It adds a touch of magic. Have a great day. Stay safe and happy.

    • Yes magic hour…all good here playing in the dirt and garden…not that I have a green thumb but I’ll give it a try again here🌷☀️ have a happy Thursday Chris ~ smiles and hugs 🤗

      • Oh, my wife is the green thumb person in this relationship. I’m basically the cheap labor. 😂

        • I also have cheap labour 😂 but might need advice along the way…in the olden days we did garden…but with life’s necessary interruptions and travel it made it difficult to maintain gardens…and we can get those Alberta hail storms that can blast everything away…which is disappointing but as my friends would say natural pruning…with no travel plans I think we’ll have some fun seeing what grows…or not ☺️🌷☀️

  2. Beautiful photos capture those ‘perfect’ moments
when love fills our hearts and softness fills the air.

    • Yes the softness fills the air…and the coyotes are lurking near by…so always exciting Eddie ~ sending you hugs and joy 🤗☺️☀️🤗

  3. “we are all affecting the world every moment” It’s difficult to imagine that I impact or affect anything.

  4. “Working on our own consciousness is the most important thing that we are doing at any moment” I’ve been doing exactly this, and the more I see, the more I realize there is to see.

    • Yup George the more I know the more I don’t know…I do enjoy the quiet. Have a productive writing day…smiles Hedy ☺️☀️

  5. Perfect words for this time. And you caught the transition from Golden hour to Blue hour very nicely.

  6. Hello, I discovered your blog yesterday. I am so glad you stopped by my kitchen. Thank you for your photos and sayings of the Buddha. Thanks for following my blog. Have a good day.

  7. Beautiful captures. Have a wonderful finish to the week.

    • Hello Terry thanks for saying it was a stunning morning…and yes another week is sliding by again…all good here…hoping you and your loved ones are safe and healthy ~ hugs and joy Hedy ☺️🌷☀️

  8. We have to have the heartbeat reset to a single frequency throughout the universe.
The poem is a clear allusion to what we are going through in quarantine. Too much idle time leads to mixed feelings. It is necessary to regulate our silences and channel it on the positive side.
    Manuel

  9. Love the mist in your 2nd image as well as the sunset and golden light on the grass. Such beautiful photography.

I think of the message of interconnectedness often. Most people have no idea about that.

    • Thanks kindly Vicki ☺️ and yes we’re all connected 🤓 and I love my early mornings right after dark ~ have a creative day smiles Hedy 😀

  10. These are so beautiful Hedy. And that Buddha quote a good reminder!
    Alison

    • Humble thanks Dina ☺️🙂🙃and I appreciate your kindness and also why you share…thanks for your comments be safe and strong…we will all get through this yet! 🌷💪☀️💫 hugs Hedy

  12. Amazing! I return to the silence too.

    • I’m enjoy the quiet and the dialled back feeling…so nice to hear from you Alex hoping you and your loved ones are safe and healthy 🤓☺️🤗 hugs over the pond ~ Hedy

  13. The beauty of these images is crashing all around me, Hedy. So poignant, just perfect. Wow.

  14. Wow my heart is spilling over .. love love the first images Miss Hedy .. We are all so connected
