According to Buddha

Don’t prolong the past,
Don’t invite the future,
Don’t alter your innate wakefulness,
Don’t fear appearances,
There’s nothing more than that!

i looked a coyote right in the face
on the road to baljennie, near my old home town
he went running thru the whisker wheat
chasing some prize down
and a hawk was playing with him
coyote was jumping straight up and making passes
he had those same eyes just like yours

me and my dog just after dark a day or so ago ~ Etown ~ April 2020

  1. So beautiful Hedy, I love it!!!

  2. What a beautiful sky! Have a good week, Hedy Stay safe.

  3. The sky is amazing.
And I like the little silhouette of the dog in the last picture.

  4. beautiful in these days of sorrow… my fav Joni song too…

    • Thanks kindly scot ☺️🤓 yes it’s a good Joni song indeed…have a creative and productive day ~ smiles Hedy 😀

  5. Wonderful. For reasons I can’t articulate, these bring tears to my eyes.

  6. With age I seem to remark that most people have a tendency to live in the biggest part of their life: young people have usually most of their life ahead, so they keep their eyes upon the future while the elderly have the biggest chunk behind them and tend to live into the past. A prolonged now seems to work out the best for everyone.

    • Yes Urban that right a “prolonged now”…and yes it’s different at 60 than 30…indeed…curious and surreal times…I’ve been fortunate…uncertain times…I do stay in the “now”… starting week 9 of isolation here… hoping you and your loved ones are safe and strong 🤓💪 hugs Hedy 🤗

  7. So beautiful. I can imagine you and your dog enjoying this outdoor sunset time, a sense of freedom and joy comes to me.
    Alison

  10. What a gorgeous sky. That first image is really stunning. Nice shot of the dog outline too. 🙂

    • Thanks kindly Vicki fabulous sunrise and yes she was almost posing…she was waiting to start her chase…. have a creative day ~ smiles Hedy ☺️🌷☀️

  11. Beautiful rich colours Hedy. Love them.

    • I did little to no edits…it was superb Simon…I love the early morning 🤓☺️have a joyful day ~ smiles hedy

  12. Such gorgeous intensity, Hedy! Excellent stuff! 🙂

  13. Beautiful photos Miss Hedy … I’m in love with your dog! ❤️

  14. Very good. Time is only an appearance, right? 😉

    • right Brian… time appears in our consciousness during the process of knowing, which consists of the existence of matter first, then, the interaction between matters, then, functions of our consciousness (our senses), then, the process of knowing that occur in our consciousness and finally, the feeling that occurs in our consciousness.Time therefore, is subjective because its existence depends upon our consciousness to acknowledge it. Time is relative to our consciousness through our perceptions of the world via our senses…I don’t know…I imagine no time…🤓🙃🙂 hugs hedy
