According to Buddha

The way in which you are part of the web of life, of incarnation, is around the dimensions, you could call it, of compassion, suffering or dealing with suffering. That when you have a society that is built on the denial of other people’s suffering, for the myths of the society to be lived out, you have a very frightened society, and you have all the pathology that comes from fear.

The first part is just acknowledging what is – just acknowledging what is.

spider webs in the woods ~ Etown ~ May 2020

  1. Good Morning. When I was a teenager, I worked at a summer camp in rural Kentucky. It was special for being remote, no electricity and a sense of adventure. One of my fond memories you brought back were the spider webs on the trails while riding a horse.

The only way through the webs was to take a long, thin branch from a tree and cut through the webs while riding.

I always found it fun to imagine being a knight or adventurer of some sort. Very much a young person’s imagination.

    Great to remember.

    • Fun right Barry…I always loved to play in the woods…lovely image you have painted in my mind…fun story thanks for sharing ~ smiles and hugs Hedy ☺️🤗💫

  10. Amazing pictures!

  11. The spider’s sense of proportion, working with almost any starting point, is amazing to me. Kind of like birds and nests… how do they do this? How do they bridge emptiness with such beauty…? Lovely images, Hedy! The webs stand out with such clarity!

    Peace
    Michael
