According to Buddha

Ask yourself: Where am I? Answer: Here.
Ask yourself: What time is it? Answer: Now.
Say it until you can hear it.

where did the ravens come from?
a nest, deep in the earth made of sticks and bones,
and as the ravens cracked out of their shells and clawed their way to the surface their feathers were singed and burned to a shiny black.

  1. Oh, yes

  2. 🙂

  3. Nicely captured, Hedy. You had me really wondering what this was. I never would have guessed, of course. Have a great day. Enjoy the crisper weather.

    • I had a tough time concentrating on the music…this was the ESO’s first indoor concert…such great pieces the women shared…and yes it’s fresher again today…hoping your well Chris…back teaching? 🤓☺️☀️

  4. Play the melodies of life.
    From black to white.
    Let’s see them all Hedy!
    Fascinating photography

  5. More raven stories here

And for the Inuit we live on a real Raven’s Earth … quite or may be the most intelligent birds anyways 🙂

  6. i wonder if anyone, besides me, who knows what a datsun bluebird is/was. lol

    • my father always said it was a BMW wannabe 🤓 but I don’t know Buddy ☺️🚙

      • I never heard it related to a BMW but the BMW 2002 was a great car also. So I can see how it might be compared to the BMW 2002.

        • my father was a car lover…I’m going with his words…but I don’t know… 🤷‍♀️ I’ve had one car in my life…I like highway driving…otherwise walk and cycle when I can…have a good night Buddy ~ sending you joy hedy ☺️💫

  7. Remarkable photographs, intriguing music. Thank you once again.

The Datsun Bluebird was a long series. The most famous in the United States was called the 510 here. Poor man’s BMW. But quite a few years later there was the 910, which I think is the one you’re referring to.

  8. Such a beautiful post, my dear Hedy…
    enjoyed the music too!

  9. Numbers have become slippery, but nature keeps moving. Even down here we can fell the breath of sry air. In a few weeks, we’ll feel cooler air. And, still numbers will have no meaning.

    • It’s 2 here right now and ☀️💫🥶 and not hard to get me doubting the numbers 🤓☺️ enjoy your sandwich and a coffee Ray ☕️🥪🙋‍♀️

      • Numbers have turned flexible. They slip and slide. Only nature remains in play. The funny thing is… I don’t eat very many sandwich, especially now when we are trapped at home.

        • I’m not so fond of bread…been drinking miso soup…and going to fetch vegetables from some local farms…I’m grateful for this veggies 🌶 🍅 🌽 🥕 🥔 🥒 🍆 I’m amazed at what they grow…enjoy some soup Ray ~ hugs hedy ☺️🤗🙂🙃

  10. So poignant. Thank you Hedy 💛

  11. Love the lighting in these Hedy. Beautifully captured.

  12. Well done, Hedy.

  13. Here and now… So simple… 🙏🏻

  14. Stunning images.
So very simple to experience what’s most important. Here. Now. In this very moment.

    • the music was so beautiful Vicki the women did an amazing performance…it was wonderful sounds and surreal atmosphere…I worked on staying in the now…but my eyes were wondering ☺️🤓 hoping you’re doing well ~ hugs hedy ☺️🤗💫

  15. When was the performance, Hedy. The musicians wore masks? Were there any covering for the wind instruments? Good captures of the audience.

    • last week Thursday…yes we are all mandated to wear masks unless we can physically distance…all indoor activity is masked…it was just strings…an intimate group from the ESO…this was their first indoor performance…it was strange for me…the music was so sweet…but I felt I was in another world…I found myself watching how often people touched their faces from their masks…I choose my mask😷moments mindfully…hoping your doing well…stay safe Miriam ~ hugs hedy 🤗🤓💫

      • I see, it was a string ensemble. Was the audience sitting next to each other? I would feel strange actually being at a concert. The last time I sang was Christmas last year. I don’t think we’ll sing this year.

A string concert seems to be doable.

I’m glad you had a good time, Hedy!

        • We were all distanced from each other…on stools or standing…it’s a lovely space in the art gallery…and yes singing and lots of talking seems to spread those droplets quickly…I’ve begun to appreciate string concerts…amazing harp too. It was a 45-60 minute event…and it was good to get out of the garden and see humans ☺️😷

          • 45-60 minute concert is lovely. I love harp. We used to get season tickets for dinner shows. A harpist paid on the stage during dinner time.
The traffic is getting heavy every year so we stopped going.
We went to many concerts and operas. I would like to go again when pandemic is over. 🙂

          • I’ve also enjoy outside concerts…good thing music will survive…have a musical day…

          • Yeah, we went to Hollywood Bowl many times. Enjoy your music!

  16. Here and Now with Great pics to share truth.
    Nice Hedy!!!
