According to Buddha

Information is just bits of data. Knowledge is putting them together. Wisdom is transcending them.

over bridge of sighs
to rest my eyes in shades of green
under dreaming spires
to itchycoo park, that’s where i’ve been
what did you do there?

it’s all too beautiful
it’s all too beautiful
it’s all too beautiful

jellies + lichen ~ one year apart ~ Etown ~ November 2020

  1. THe jellyfish upside down looks like a freeze frame of Vesta’s sacred fire. 🙂 SaWEET.

  2. Still got your head in your parent’s car Hedy?
Sounds like a good place to be.

  3. Where did you find the jellyfish like this? Was this an aquarium visit? Cool shots. Have a great day.

    • I did a one year blend with this post…the jellies are in Vancouver the lichen here in etown…I think the aquarium is closed now 🤓I really enjoyed seeing them…it was a good memory 💫 off to check the ice cakes soon. Have a snappy day too Chris ☺️🤗

  4. Fascinating images, as always. To me, the first one looks like a person going up up and away in a giant helium balloon.

    • Ahhhh to float away…that would be so cool…for now it will be a dream…thanks for your comment Neil 🙏 humble thanks Hedy ☺️💫

  5. If the bits and pieces of data add up to the knowledge you were seeking,
then gather on! Perhaps someday and I did say perhaps, an inkling of
wisdom will ooze out of all of it and you not need to remember so much!
    Incredible photos Hedy,
    take more, take more

  6. It’s ALL too beautiful, my dearest Hedy, and makes my day a better one! Thank you so much! 🙏🤗 …and more hugs! 😉

  7. Yay! Great post! The pictures are wonderful (since I saw jellies in a proper aquarium they are among my favorite creatures) and so is the song. So sweet! Like Steve Mariotts angelic face. Then.

    • Thanks kindly Peter…such fascinating creatures…I could watch them for a very long time…that’s funny Steve Marriotts angelic face ☺️🤓👌 sending joy over the pond ~ hedy 💫

  8. Great posts! Love the pics!

  9. The photos of the jellies are so wonderful!
    Alison

    • they were from the year before…had such a fun memory of grandson at the aquarium…I do love those jellies…hoping you’re doing well…I know more restrictions…there is no going out to visit for the holidays this year…it will be a hunker down…and zoom 🤪😄 crazy days hugs to you and Don

      • We’re fine. Meeting with friends outdoors. Restaurants are not closed for groups of 6 or less. We were going to have our 3 #covidbubble friends over for Christmas dinner but it will probably end up being in a restaurant. I am grateful that here, even on the coldest day, we can still do outdoors as long as it’s not raining.
        Hugs back
        A. xo

        • we also have a bubble of 2…it’s blue and mild here all good…dialling back is a different and energizing feeling…for now ☺️🙃🙂hugs

  10. It’s all too beautiful.. Fine post; great shots. Have a nice one!

  11. Many contrasts, Hedy! Land and sea, B&W and color, alternating images, etc. Great set…take care. 🙂

  12. Beautiful images!

  13. Thank you for the pics, though I’m not too fond of jellyfish. Been badly burnt by one once.
But most of all, thank you for the reflection. Took a screen shot to work on my wisdom. 😉🙏🏻😷💕

  14. Wow Miss Hedy … wonderful images 👏

  15. Nice photos. I love jellies.
