According to Buddha

The shadow is the greatest teacher for how to come to the light.

well i know i had it all on the line
but don’t just seat with folded hands
and become blind
’cause even when there is no star in sight
you’ll always be my only guiding light

  1. A set of fine compositions

  2. Wonderful. ♥️🌹

  3. Common sights seen in a new way. Have a great week, Hedy.

  4. Very cool! I love the picture with the sock.

    • hi Peter thank you for saying 🙏…our theme was lines…always a wonder abandoned clothing articles 🤓 smiles and joy over the pond ~ smiles hedy ☺️💫

  5. Light and shadow light and shadow light and shadow
what a perfect day! love, Eddie

    • you know it was a perfect foto friday so many humans came out…and we had delicious sunshine…I had a lovely day…sending you joy and hugs back Eddie and love too❣️☺️🤗

  6. Shadow, light and a solitary sock. Love it all Hedy 💕

    • yes bits and pieces…little things along the way…it’s very quiet downtown other than some humans who are living on the margins…it’s a strange feeling here in Etown Val…good thing I can return to the woods ☺️🤓🙃 I’m grateful for that!

  7. The single sock is a lot like the single shoe. Is it the same person who lost both of these? 🙂

    • no David this is from a different downtown walk…abandoned clothing articles is a common sight here actually 🤓but yes they do match so who knows 🧐 sending you joy hedy

  8. very true. “We will come form the shadows…” as your Lenny Cohen sang. Words by d’Astier de la Vigerie if I recall. 🙏🏻

    • I think it’s an anti-fascist anthem about the French Resistance in World War II…but I’m not sure…will need to look 🤓 thanks Brian ~ smiles and joy your way hedy 🙃🙂☺️

      • “La complainte du partisan.” Written by Emmanuel d’Astier de la Vigerie in 1943. That is the text that Cohen re-took. There is another, more “official” called “Le chant des partisans” written by Kessel. Smiles back.

  9. I love your poem, Hedy! The images are great!

  10. This is just beautiful Hedy.
    Concise wisdom in your words.
    Have a blessed day! 💖🤗
