I didn’t truly start appreciating flowering trees and bushes till recent years. They are, of course, fabulous.

Beautiful, Hedy! My plum blossom came and was gone in my absence this year. They come in late winter before other flowers invite the bees over. We don’t have snow but the rain didn’t help those fragile flowers either. So the blossom didn’t get pollinated. My husband asked me to use the paint brush to do it. I was going to do it this year but it happened that I went to see my grandkids that week. They were full bloom for just a short week.
We had some snow a week ago then some delicious sunshine and now howling winds blowing all the blossoms off … spring is always tough here … so I enjoy seeing beauty from afar as well ~ have a joyous day ~ smiles hedy ☺️🌷💫
Yeah, I think that was what happened to the plum blossoms, heavy rain and gusty wind. I think the tree managed to have a couple dozens of plums this years verse 1,100 three years ago. Have a great week, Hedy! <3 🙂
