According to Buddha

I would say that the thrust of my life has been initially about getting free, and then realizing that my freedom is not independent of everybody else. Then I am arriving at that circle where one works on oneself as a gift to other people so that one doesn’t create more suffering.

well we’re movin’ on up,
to the east side.
to a deluxe apartment in the sky.
movin’ on up
to the east side.
we finally got a piece of the pie.

walking a day or so ago in White Rock, BC ~ June 2021

  1. I’ve heard it said “nothing is ‘free’ in life!” but there’s always curbside couches.

  2. It looks like a lot of people are cleaning out.

  3. Even something free isn’t worth having unless you need it.
have a great day my friend, Eddie

  4. Cool set of pictures. Keep going. I have a friend in Brooklyn who has been photographing chairs in gutter for months. It’s quite a collection.

    • I find walking dogs you also see many urban things walking in streets and back lanes…I’ll make a collection 🤓👌☺️ I’ll need to find out the photographers name…I’ve connected to James Maher this pass month…fun and educative for me 💫

  5. love it.. nothing like redo’s and mov’n up. enjoy and take care 💖💖💖❣️❤️❤️

  6. Pleasant walk. Free yard sale. You can pick up furniture for your new house in Black rock? 😉
And yes, the search for freedom is a constant. I couldn’t agree more… Be free. 🙏🏻

    • Yup releasing stuff is a good thing … be free … freedom seems like an extra loaded word these days … I’m grateful 🙏 I do have some choices 🤓👌 sending joy and hugs 💫🤗

      • Choices are what’s important. Otherwise you’re trapped. 🙏🏻🏴‍☠️

        • Yes use the ones you have right ☺️🤓☺️ we’re in a ‘heat dome’ here it’s going to 39 today…it’s bizarre weather here…winds 🌬☀️🔥💥I’m imagining the thunder when this phenomenon is done on Friday…

  7. Well done, Hedy – once more, you match the style to the subject so well.

  8. Each chair has a story. Beautiful images.
