According to Buddha

When we drop all of our painful effort to attain something, then suddenly there is spaciousness in our consciousness, a sense of being unobstructed, and we are able to enjoy life as it comes.

ha-hallelujah, oh, i’m down on the beach
ha-ah-ah-ah, hallelujah, oh, i’m down on the beach

a day or so ago Lesser Slave Lake known traditionally as ᐊᔭᐦᒋᔨᓂᐤ ᓵᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ ayahciyiniw sâkahikan ~ Treaty 8 lands AB ~ November 2021

  1. Lesser Slave Lake looks like a nice place to visit.

    • yes…it’s has many interesting historical pieces as well…only been here once a long time ago…I’m enjoying seeing parts of Alberta now with my little black box…it’s very harsh in Alberta…and very rural as well…I’m certainly curious Hien…there is a lot of birds here you’d enjoy that too 🤓💫🙏 sending joy hedy

  2. Beautiful icy beach.

    • yes and summer hot and sandy…only been here once…the changes in the weather over 4 days was amazing …☀️🌬❄️have a joyful day Timothy ~ hugs hedy 🤗

  3. Amazing pictures, Hedy, 🌹🙏

  4. Beautiful landscape! Amazing pictures!

  5. Wow! Look at all the room in here!
Never ‘thought’ (or is it unthought) it possible!
Love your photos Hedy, enjoy the day, hugs, Eddie

    • it’s a large lake…apparently it’s normally frozen by this time of year but 🤔it may be a bit yet…it was a shopping day glad to be done that task now 😜 hugs back and thanks for your comments and connection Eddie so nice☺️🤓🤗🦋🤍hugs for a fun day!

  6. your words and pictures are gifts of the heart Hedy.. thank you💖

  7. … and you captured much to enjoy!

  8. Just gorgeous Hedy. 👏👏👏
    Alison 💕

  9. Another beautiful series of photos, Hedy. There is something special about this time of year beyond the holidays, and your opening quote “we are able to enjoy life as it comes…” along with your images hold the truths 🙂

  10. If this is “lesser” as the name implies, I wonder how large the “regular” version is, or if there is a “Greater Slave Lake”???

    • Well I did need to check the size I’m not good with numbers 🤓☺️ Lesser Slave Lake, lake in central Alberta, Canada, 130 miles (209 km) northwest of Edmonton and 400 miles (640 km) south of Great Slave Lake (in the Northwest Territories). It is 60 miles (97 km) long by 12 miles (19 km) wide and has an area of 451 square miles (1,168 square km)…pretty big right 🤓😳

  11. Spaciousness, yes. Already you have ice on the lake edges, beautiful.

    • Apparently this lake is typically frozen by mid November🤓so this is unusual…I’d love to return to see ice fishing…it’s a very large lake Lynn endless land 🥺😳🤓🤍🕊happy days to you ~ hugs hedy 🤗

      • I like the idea of those wide, endless horizons. I looked it up…north of you and near mountains so I see how it actually should be frozen by now but…there ya go, the climate is changing. But we’ll always find beauty, won’t we?

  12. Beautiful spaciousness indeed… Merci. (Just felt the same, as always, on 5th Avenue… A strange sensation. Vertical spaciousness?) 🙏🏻
