According to Buddha

Sorrow prepares you for joy. It violently sweeps everything out of your house, so that new joy can find space to enter. It shakes the yellow leaves from the bough of your heart, so that fresh, green leaves can grow in their place. It pulls up the rotten roots, so that new roots hidden beneath have room to grow. Whatever sorrow shakes from your heart, far better things will take their place

Looks like that outside my window this morning, and yesterday and the day before that! ☔ Haha, the weather could indeed be in Manchester, England as well.     • Yes the puddles were in Amsterdam here in etown we had frozen rain 😰 walking with picks and remembering bikes and rain ☺️💫have a joyful day Timothy ~ hugs hedy 🤗

    • Yes…I’m biased ☺️🤓🇱🇺me too…soon I’m hoping…the first and last is a building here in etown…trying for a euro look 🤓☺️I was remembering my roots ~ sending joy hedy 💫

    Now that’s an interesting thought about Sorrow. Yet, some Sorrows tend to be eternal. At least for me and my daughter… I am concerned about her… And nothing much I can do…

    • I think they were trying for some euro look…it’s a cool enough space…but it’s not Amsterdam by any stretch 😌…yes her pain must beee brutal Brian…grief and mourning are different for us all…and for sure I appreciate your pain in this too…sending 🕊🤍and all good things…ps. I may have said this before but for me working with a death doula helped me very much…🤓 hugs and love for another holiday season☮️💜

      • I think you mentioned a death doula. (Doctor?) She’s been in therapy. Took up the piano again. Plays Satie now, immersed in her work. Making a name with NGO’s on gender issues. She is as well as can be. But there are tiny issues which will last a long while. We all help as much as we can.
