According to Buddha
In most of our human relationships, we spend much of our time reassuring one another that our costumes of identity are on straight.

love this quote 🌞🌞
I used the words of Ram Dass for this post…I also love his work…sending joy hedy ☺️🕊✨
🙏🙏
Curious photos
have a lovely day Hedy
It was a fascinating art exhibition Eddie…so making images of already existing art 🤓I learned more along the way from the artists and photographing in low light 🤓☺️sending joy and hugs for a good day ~ hedy🤍✨🕊
There’s always something new to learn, fascinating stuff Hedy
for sure Eddie…and visuality helps me learn 🤓 it felt tender…made me think about “us” as humans and kindness🤍🕊
that will keep you busy for a lifetime, hugs
right Eddie…I’m never bored…always something new and something to delve into deeper…🤍🕊
thank goodness for meditation
Weird exhibit … great captures. Love that quote Hedy 🤍🕊☃️
it was definitely an uncanny art show Val…it was entitled ‘Insight to Mood Disorders and Bipolar’…I learned a lot…it was a ‘heavy’ exhibit for sure ~ sending you Sunday joy for a peaceful day ~ hugs hedy 🤗☺️🕊
Strange.
yes it was ‘different/strange/weird’ art but it screams for attention and makes me/you think🧐sure made me look again and ponder🤓the exhibition was beautifully hung and the works were done with exquisite detail and care…it was a tad haunting to me Timothy ~ have a snappy day hugs hedy ☺️🤗🕊
Cool shots!
Thank you kindly Stevie…always tricky to photograph other peoples art…for me anyways but I’m also trying to learn more ‘low light’…it was a very cool exhibition…heartfelt to me🤓☺️🤍🕊 have a joyful day ~ hedy
Yeah, it looks like my kind of exhibition 😀 Have a fun day!
Brad Necyk’s autobiographical film Alberta #3 was also amazing Stevie…I found the artists works to be highly educative for me…and yes I plan on a fun day☺️😁you too!
Wonderfully moody images, Hedy. Have a great week.
moody is a good word for this exhibition Chris🤓 it was about the research spanning psychiatry and art so I learned more about how mental health is impacted by mood disorders…I found it both touching and disturbing…have a great week too, enjoy your pup🐶❣️hugs hedy
You’ve opened the doors of perception!
Some pain and trauma humans live and endure is unbelievable to me Neil…also what humans do to each other boggles my mind…it was a heartfelt exhibition…and we need more art❣️sending you joy for a happy day ~ hugs hedy 🤗🕊
Very different. What surprises me is being able to photograph the exhibition. Most galleries, most fine art places, won’t allow it unless you are the exhibitor.
I don’t typically photograph existing art…but this exhibition had so many unique works…and here as long as you’re not using a flash or bothering patrons it’s ok…☺️🤓sending you Sunday joy David ~ hugs hedy🤗🕊
All the world’s a stage Hedy. 🎭🎥🙌
Right Mike…
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;…
Have a joyful day ~ hugs hedy ☺️🤗🌷
Interesting and disturbing.
I didn’t include what I thought were more disturbing images here Alex…reading the narratives from the artists was educative and heartbreaking…it was an important exhibition and I learned more seeing what the artists created from those experiences…the arts can be healing…sending you joy hedy 💞🌷🕊hugs hedy🤗
Creative modern art, for sure, Hedy. 🙂
It was a long while since I’ve been at an art exhibition and this contemporary gallery is really fantastic…i appreciate modern contemporary art…sending writing vibes…have a creative week Miriam ~ hugs hedy ☺️🤗🌷✨
We have some contemporary art on the streets. Probably the artists we’re commissioned to do them. I would like to go around to take photos but it’s hard to find parking near them. Have a wonderful week, Hedy. 😍😊💐
These are fabulous totally intriguing photos. And I *love* the Buddha quote. So true.
Alison 🙏🤗💕
It was a exhibition that lingered for me…the artists narratives were touching and heartfelt🤓❣️🕊hugs hedy…thanks kindly Alison🤗
Your impressions from the exhibit say much more than straight, documentary photos would. Very nice, Hedy!
Always strange to photograph existing art but as I’ve said this exhibition felt tender and raw and very authentic which is refreshing these days…and I learned more about the artists narratives which I always enjoy…it’s a wonderful gallery ~ thanks so much for your comments Lynn always appreciated ~ hugs hedy 🤗🤍🕊
That does sound refreshing…there’s a lot of superficial “art” around these days. And the story behind the art/artist – of course that would intrigue you!
I appreciate authentic honesty these days 🤓🤍🌸happiness your way Lynn🕊
wondrous words to go with your pictures Hedy! 💖🌈
Always tricky to photograph already existing art…it was a thoughtful exhibition indeed🙏🤍thanks kindly Cindy🌸
Eerie ain’t it?
I learned a lot about the artists narratives…it was tender to me🤓what humans do to each other, sad. Sending you joy 💫hugs hedy
Joy well received. Thank you. Sending some sun back up North. ☀️ 🤗
