All beings have lived and died and been reborn countless times. Over and over again they have experienced the indescribable Clear Light. But because they are obscured by the darkness of ignorance, they wander endlessly in a limitless samsara.

some they know as passion
some as freedom
some they know as love
and the way it leaves them
summer snowflake
for a season
when the sky above is blue

  5. Ignorance is certainly not bliss. 😉 I believe that every day we choose to live or die. At the end of the day, have we loved? Have we hated? We awake again the following day to have the great gift of choice! Have we learned from the day before? For me, therein lies the daily rebirth. And these pics, Hedy.   9. Such lovely natural mandalas. If I were a bee I believe I would be intoxicated by the forms and colors alone. Very difficult to fly in these conditions. And all of this beautiful pattern is hinting at the existence of a singularity at the center–the wellspring of life flowing into this realm. We had an absolutely beautiful two-day period with temperatures at 10C, and today snow again. It was a lovely hint of what is come, as are these photos!
