According to Buddha

All the wonders of life are already here. They’re calling you. If you can listen to them, you will be able to stop running. What you need, what we all need, is silence. Stop the noise in your mind in order for the wondrous sounds of life to be heard. Then you can begin to live your life authentically and deeply.

when it’s not always raining there’ll be days like this
when there’s no one complaining there’ll be days like this
when everything falls into place like the flick of a switch

when everyone is up front and they’re not playing tricks, yeah
when you don’t have no freeloaders, out to get their kicks, yeah
when it’s nobody’s business, the way that you want to live
i just have to remember, there’ll be days like this

oh my mama told me, there’ll be days like this
oh my mama told me, there’ll be days like this

a day or so ago a walk along the Rideau Canal ~ Odawa/Ottawa on un-ceded Algonquin Anishinabe territory ~ June 2022

  1. Thanks, Hedy, such bright photos this time. It always lifts my spirits when the sun shines.
That’s some canal, the Rideau! Not far from where I live we have the oldest “summit level” canal on these islands, dating from 1742; it’s such a shame that it has been allowed fall into disrepair (except for a few dedicated volunteers who do great work trying to raise awareness). Our leaders have only blinkered vision! Great song by Dermot Kennedy! It sounds so familiar!

    • Nice to read this Ashley always so nice to make connections the world is connected indeed🤍💐☺️you’ve done some very cool things and yes Dermot Kennedy also Van Morrison does the song 💃🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵big hugs over the pond🤗☀️hedy
