You can do it like it’s a great weight on you, or you can do it like a dance.

i am a house built out of twigs and stones.
i am a house, but i’m not a home.
i got love to give, and give, and give, and give, and give, and give.
i got love to give, and give, and give, and give, and give, and give.

According to Buddha

Souls love. That’s what souls do. Egos don’t, but souls do. Become a soul, look around, and you’ll be amazed-all the beings around you are souls. Be one, see one. When many people have this heart connection, then we will know that we are all one, we human beings all over the planet. We will be one. One love. And don’t leave out the animals, and trees, and clouds, and galaxies-it’s all one. It’s one energy.

According to Buddha

You have to have a lot of compassion for the stages people are in. Souls are neither nor evil. Actions are good or evil. Motivation is good or evil. Personalities can be good or evil. But the essence of being is neither good or evil it just is. And it sometimes it has heavy stuff to work out and other times good stuff to work out.

According to Buddha

Usually when we hear or read something new, we just compare it to our own ideas. If it is the same, we accept it and say that it is correct. If it is not, we say it is incorrect. In either case, we learn nothing.

has our conscience shown?
has the sweet breeze blown?
has all the kindness gone?
hope still lingers on
are we listening
hymns of offering?
have we eyes to see
that love is gathering?

According to Buddha

So many times each day we support each other informally without ever becoming ‘helper’ or ‘helped.’ Perhaps we’re finding an article of clothing for a partner, cutting bread for one of the children, collecting the mail for the person at the next desk, holding the coat for someone at a restaurant.

the greatest thing you’ll ever learn
is just to love and be loved in return

According to Buddha

And when you have the chance to stand somewhere where nobody’s watching you, and you can just look at people. I spend lots of time doing that.  Like, I’ll sit in a car on a street and watch people go by. I’ll just look at each one as somebody who is an absolutely exquisitely articulated entity unfolding before my eyes. Then they walk off, never to be seen again probably.

oh, that city sound
oh, how you’re pulling my heart strings and
oh, let’s go downtown
