According to Buddha

The most important aspect of love is not in giving or the receiving: it’s in the being. When I need love from others, or need to give love to others, I’m caught in an unstable situation. Being in love, rather than giving or taking love, is the only thing that provides stability. Being in love means seeing the beloved all around me.

gonna keep on tryin’
til i reach my highest ground… whew!
til i reach my highest ground
no one’s gonna bring me down
oh no

Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.

According to Buddha

All beings have lived and died and been reborn countless times. Over and over again they have experienced the indescribable Clear Light. But because they are obscured by the darkness of ignorance, they wander endlessly in a limitless samsara.

some they know as passion
some as freedom
some they know as love
and the way it leaves them
summer snowflake
for a season
when the sky above is blue

According to Buddha

One has to develop a panoramic awareness, an all-pervading awareness, knowing the situation at that very moment. It is a question of knowing the situation and opening one’s eyes to that very moment of nowness, and this is not particularly a mystical experience or anything mysterious at all, but just direct, open and clear perception of what is now without being influenced by the past or any expectation of the future, but just seeing the very moment of now, then at that moment there is no barrier at all.

All the peace and happiness of the whole globe,
the peace and happiness of societies,
the peace and happiness of families,
the peace and happiness in the individual persons’ life,
and the peace and happiness of even the animals and so forth,
all depends on having loving kindness toward each other.

According to Buddha

There are two kinds of happiness, mental happiness, and outer happiness. Outer happiness comes through meeting with an external object and is transitory. Mental happiness comes about through meditation and positive thought, it is stable and does not cause suffering. One cannot be happy if one does not have mental happiness, no matter how abundant the   external sources of outer happiness are, but if one is truly happy in one’s mind, then one is unaffected by outer problems.

According to Buddha

What is the mind? It is a phenonmenon that is not body, not substantial, has no form, no shape, no colour, but, like a mirror, can clearly reflect objects.

leave this space and face the open wide
wonder endlessly, i don’t look down
making me forgive making me brave
looking for a chance to change my wings
lately i’ve been wondering why i stay
feeling like

space invades my mind

According to Buddha

As human beings, we are all the same. So there is no need to build some kind of artificial barrier between us. At least my own experience is that if you have this kind of attitude, there is no barrier.

it ain’t no joke, i’d like to buy the world a toke

and teach the world to snuff the fires and the liars
hey, i know it’s just a song but it’s spice for the recipe

According to Buddha

Fixed ideas are like a wisp of cloud or smoke, but nonetheless people find themselves blocked or captured by these. You would laugh if you saw someone tripped by a cloud, or if someone claimed that they were imprisoned by the air. But, in fact, people are endlessly being trapped by things no more substantial than air or clouds. They make a wall with their mind, and then it imprisons them. Inherently, there is no wall or anything to trip over. These things are mirages they’ve created from the thoughts they gave rise to.

and i see you hiding your face in your hands
talking bout far-away lands
