Mindfulness is not just a word or a discourse by the Buddha, but a meaningful state of mind. It means we have to be here now, in this very moment, and we have to know what is happening internally and externally. It means being alert to our motives and learning to change unwholesome thoughts and emotions into wholesome ones. Mindfulness is a mental activity that in due course eliminates all suffering.
Remind yourself that all sentient beings have at one time been your mother—birthing you, nursing you, caring for you through a helpless stage of life. Imagine this and generate appreciation and goodwill for all sentient beings, whether they cut you off in traffic, compliment your smile, or walk past you without a glance.
All the peace and happiness of the whole globe, the peace and happiness of societies, the peace and happiness of family, the peace and happiness in the individual persons’ life, and the peace and happiness of even the animals and so forth, all depends on having loving kindness toward each other.

Knowledge of the scriptures,
It is no more than a strand of hair
In the vastness of space;
However important appears
Your worldly experience,
It is but a drop of water in a deep ravine.
Do everything with a mind that lets go. Do not expect any praise or reward. If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go a lot, you will have a lot of peace. If you let go completely, you will know complete peace and freedom. Your struggles with the world will have come to an end.
look if you had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything, you ever wanted in one moment would you capture it or just let it slip?

The outer world is a projection of our mind. If we look through rose-colored glasses, the world is beautiful. If we look through black glasses, it is horrible. We will have fear if the anger, resentment, and disturbances inside us have not been worked out. The best way to get rid of fear is to very consciously wish all beings everything good every day, as often and deeply as possible. There is no fear that will not disappear then; the blockages that one cannot bear will fall away. Good wishes for others are the strongest antidote.
A Native American grandmother was speaking to her grandson about violence and cruelty in the world and how it comes about. She said it was as if two wolves were fighting in her heart. One wolf was vengeful and angry, and the other wolf was understanding and kind. The young man asked his grandmother which wolf would win the fight in her heart. And the grandmother answered, “The one that wins will be the one I choose to feed.”
just then grandfather came out. he was angry because peter had gone in the meadow. “it is the dangerous place. if a wolf should come out of the forest, then what would you do?” but peter paid no attention to his grandfather’s words.
