According to Buddha

As there is no permanent, unchanging substance, nothing passes from one moment to the next. So quite obviously, nothing permanent or unchanging can pass or transmigrate from one life to the next. It is a series that continues unbroken, but changes every moment. The series is, really speaking, nothing but movement.

It is proper that you have doubt, that you have perplexity, for a doubt has arisen in a matter which is doubtful.

Dear City of Edmonton, Neighbourhood Renewal Program Team

you’ve all left me wondering about who cares when i recall…

the project boy who looked at me and said what’s the problem…is there a problem?

it’s too bad for you

the senior project boy who looked at me and said ‘that’s the only place the lamp post could go.’

it’s too bad for you

the forest boy who looked at me and said ‘we need to save the trees.’

it’s too bad for you

the city lamp boy who looked at me and said ‘ya i wondered why they put that there.’

it’s too bad for you

the sidewalk boy who looked at me and said ‘is that a problem?’

it’s too bad for you

the city manager boy who asserted ‘we can’t move it now.’

it’s too bad for you

the signals and streetlighting boy who told me ‘plant some flowers.’

it’s too bad for you

the landscaping boy who looked at me and said ‘you’re totally right!’

it’s too bad for you

the ‘weed puller’ boys who laughed and said ‘that’s hilarious they put the lamp post in front of your house?’

it’s too bad for you

the subcontractor boy who looked at me and said ‘yup it sure is ugly!’

it’s too bad for you

the infrastructure rehabilitation boy who said ‘we’re not relocating the street light post.’

it’s too bad for you

the transportation manager boy who said ‘i am responsible for the budget and priorities….not the lamp post.’

it’s too bad for you

the roads design boy who said ‘this is not a beautification program it is a Neighbourhood Renewal Program.’

it’s too bad for you

the construction manager boy who said ‘relocating could not occur as construction was completed last year as per the approved design plans.’

it’s too bad for you

the operations boy who said ‘my preference would be to respond to your concern without elevating it.’

it’s too bad for you

the transportation services boy who merely said ‘yes i am the leader.’

it’s too bad for you

the city manager boy who said ‘Hi there I am the leader…I formally report to council as a body.’

it’s too bad for you

…so, who’s responsible?

…planting flowers?

…seriously?

…to cover your thoughtless work?

it’s too bad for you City of Edmonton Neighbourhood Renewal Program boy team.

it’s bad…to bad…too bad.
